The event was attended by Mr. Khalid, Mr. Hamid and Mr. Zayed the sons of the late Rashid Al Zayani , their children, executive board members of the foundation and residents of Budaiya, including the beneficiaries who their homes were renovated.

Imerys Group is a world leader in Fused Alumina and abrasives with several operating units in europe, North and south America. This new Joint Venture will further strengthen the industrial division of Al Zayani Investments by expanding and diversifying the Al Zayani Investments Group’s manufacturing footprint in Bahrain.A Joint Venture Company “Treibacher Al Zayani schleifmittel W.l.l.” has been incorporated in Bahrain, with Al Zayani Investments W.l.l. and Imerys Middle east Holding Co. W.l.l. as shareholders.

The project is being established at a project cost of about us$ 30 Million, in salman Industrial City, Hidd. Gulf House engineering has been appointed for designing the factory and supervising the construction. The project construction is expected to commence in a few months and be completed in about 14 months. The commercial operations of this project are expected to commence in the third quarter of 2013.”

Zayani leasing, one of the Kingdom’s largest leasing companies, recently signed an exclusive lease contract with logistics provider Aramex for Peugeot Boxter and Peugeot Partner.

The deal came in line with Zayani leasing’s direction to provide smart solutions to their partners. The vans which were fully branded with Aramex’s corporate colors were handed over by General Manager of Zayani leasing Mr. Anil Varghese to Aramex Country manager Mr. luai Alagha.

Treibacher Al Zayani schleifmittel, a Joint Venture between Imerys Group of France and Al Zayani Investments Group of Bahrain, has signed a contract with Gulf House engineering, for design and construction of its White Fused Alumina project. Mr. Hamid Rashid Al Zayani, Member of the Board of Directors of Treibacher Al Zayani schleifmittel and Mr. Ahmed Bucheery, Managing Director of Gulf House engineering signed the contract. The project is being established at a project cost of about us$ 30 Million, in salman Industrial City, Hidd and is expected to provide direct employment to about 75 persons. Mr. Hamid Al Zayani informed that the project construction is expected to be completed in about 14 months and commercial operations are expected to commence in the third quarter of 2013.

Continued till May 9 the tournament included the participation of a number of private schools including the British school, Al Raja school, Bahrain school, st. Christopher’s, Ibn Khuldoon National school and the French school Bahrain. The contestants aged 15-18 were given the opportunity to showcase their talents against other schools from around the kingdom.

Over 500 people attended this spectacular event that featured Ghazal performances by shahabaz Aman who has made a name for himself among music lovers in India in the last decade.

Representing an additional investment, the new showroom covers an area of over 100 sqm, and

is able to accommodate the display of up to 10 motorcycles. It also boasts all new diagnostic equipment and has new systems and processes in place to ensure more efficient customer service turn-around times.

latest results from the exclusive BMW Group importer in Bahrain highlight the ever-increasing interest in BMW Motorrad in the Kingdom, with a

10% increase in sales during the first quarter of 2012 compared to the same period last year. The new showroom will help cater for this growth and further fuel interest in BMW Motorrad.
