    TO REGISTER - Its easy to register. You can Phone-In, Fax, Drop-O, or Mail-In your registration. Please refer to the registration form onpage 28 of the brochure, for the correct address or telephone numberfor registration. Participants will be allowed to register in class at therst class meeting, as space permits. Participants will not be admitted

    to any fee program without being registered or paying the guest fee.Classes are lled on a rst come, rst served basis. All classes are subjectto cancellation or schedule change if class minimums are not met.Classes are closed when maximum enrollment is met and/or after thethird week of each session. Enroll early to ensure the minimum for theclass you desire has been met. Children are not allowed in adult classes

    with parents.

    PAYMENT - Payments can be made with cash (exact amount only),MasterCard, Visa, Discover, personal check or money order. Cash onlyat Alhambra Park. When paying by check please include your driverslicense number and expiration date on the check. All fees are payablein full at the time of registration and are not transferable or prorated.In-class registration is taken the rst day of class only. NO CASH will be

    GUESTS -Guests are invited to attend class for a one-time guest fee,only within the rst three weeks of class. A $7 guest fee must be paidby check, payable to the City of Alhambra. If you decide to register forthe class, the $7 guest fee will be applied toward the registration fee,otherwise it is forfeited.

    REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY - The City ofAlhambra will not issue any refunds after the rst class meeting. Refundswill only be granted if the participant cancels prior to the rst classmeeting. A $2 processing fee will be assessed. Full refunds will be issuedonly for classes cancelled by the City of Alhambra.

    PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS

    This is one-on-one swim instruction for individuals who want to improve and rene swimming skills. Lessons are available on alternating Fridays at both Alhambra and Grapools. Participant must arranged a mutually agreed upon date and time with aquatic stalevels and abilities are welcome. Space is limited.

    CLASS DESCRIPTIONSThe Regular Two-Week Session for youthand adults consist of (9) 35-minutes classes,one per day, Monday through Friday, for therst week and Monday through Thursdayfor the second week. The Saturday Sessionconsists of 40-minutes classes, one per

    Saturday, held on four consecutive Saturdays.Note: if needed, a skills test will be given atthe beginning of the session, to determinethe appropriate class level for the student.When appropriate, the student may bechanged to another class level depending onclass availability.

    Parent/Child Classes introduces Parents& Children to the aquatic environment.Parents will be instructed on how to teachwater adjustment skills and games to theirchildren. Ages: 6 months to 3 years (Minimumparticipants 10.)

    Tots Class is designed for children with littleor no swimming experience, and is gearedmainly towards water adjustment whileintroducing primary swimming skills. Ages:3-5 years (Minimum participants 6.)

    Advance Beginner Class providesinstruction to solidify and strengthen skills,such as proper stroke and kicking techniques,

    Intermediate Swimmer - Class is designedto increase swimmers endurance andintroduce new strokes to the students whohave successfully completed the AdvanceBeginner class (Minimum participants 8.)

    Guppy Guards / Junior Lifeguard Course

    Guppy Guards is for 7-10 yrs olds and Jr.Lifeguards is for 11-14 yrs olds interested inlearning about Aquatics and Safety. Swimtest is required for all participants. Thiscourse meets Monday through Friday forone week. Activities include water skills,conditioning, water relays and a mockwater rescue.
