Participants will be divided into teams of 6-8 players at the start of the season. Weeks 1 to 3 are focused on a variety of activities that are geared toward developing basic basketball skills. Weeks 4 to 6 will have teams playing small sided games against a new team each week. Players practice and play on Sunday’s only. Participants will be provided a team t-shirt. Please indicate your child’s size on the registration form. Sample t-shirt sizes are available at Parks & Recreation. K-2nd Grade Basketball Dates: Sundays, 1/26/14-3/2/14 Time: Kindergarten: 12 p.m. 1st Grade: 1 p.m. 2nd Grade: 2 p.m. Location: Morey Courts, 5175 E. Remus Activity Codes: Kindergarten: 114079-00 1st Grade: 114080-00 2nd Grade: 114081-00 Resident Fee: $30 Non-Resident Fee: $45 Early Discount: $5 when registered by 12/6/13 Deadline: 1/3/14 The 3rd-6th grade basketball program focuses on the fundamentals of basketball and developing the future player’s team skills. Recess - School’s Out Day Camp Start Smart™ Tennis

You’ll like the new team-based format the youth bowling

club program offers. Bowlers practice with a qualifi ed coach

the fi rst two weeks beginning January 25 focusing on the

fundamentals of bowling: hand placement, approach, aim,

scoring, and bowling etiquette. Teams will be formed and

bowlers will compete with friends during Saturday morning

games starting on February 8. Participants will be provided a

team t-shirt. Please indicate your child’s size on the registration

form. Sample t-shirt sizes are available at Parks & Recreation.

potential risks inherent with participating in any recreation activity, and that the City of Mt. Pleasant does not provide accident insurance. I/we assume all risks

and hazards incidental to such participation, including transportation to and from the activities, and do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree

to hold harmless Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation, its offi cers, staff, and their agents for all claims, injuries, liabilities, damages or right of action directly or

indirectly arising out of use of Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation facilities, equipment and/or participation in Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation activities. In

the event of an emergency, I authorize Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation staff to obtain medical treatment for the above-named participants. I/we also waive

any rights/damages that may occur in result of photographs/videos of the events/activities offered through this department. All classes and activities cancelled by

Mt. Pleasant Parks & Recreation before the start of a program will be refunded in full. Participants requesting a refund before the start of a program are entitled

to a refund less an $8 service fee. No refunds are available once a program has begun, unless injury occurs.
