Stewardship
Before Jesus was born, Mary alone was responsible for sharing Him with all she encountered. She was the first missionary disciple. We must remember that God dwells within us as well, and that we, like Mary, have the responsibility of sharing Him with all those we encounter.

Help Annunciation of the Lord Church and Save on Taxes
If you are 70 1/2 years old or older, you can give up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to Annunciation of the Lord Church without paying income taxes on the donation. You don’t have to donate the entire IRA to be eligible for the tax benefit. You’ll pay no income taxes on your gift and if you spouse is 70 ½ years or older, they can donate up to $100,000 as well. The transfer does not create taxable income or a tax deduction, so you will benefit even if you don’t itemize your deductions.
If you haven’t taken your required minimum distribution this year, your IRA charitable rollover gift can satisfy all or part of that requirement. Should you have any questions about donating an IRA, please contact your plan administrator or tax professional. Also remember all donations must be received by 12/31/2018 to qualify on 2018 tax return.
