Many people ask – “What’s the registration process?” Do it in this order (because we changed it up on you. Trust us, this works even better)
1. Get your car inspected and your AIV checked at Tech. Tech will now issues you the car’s Tech sticker. Make sure that you have a transponder bracket, logbook and tech sheet before going to tech (see registration if you do not have)
2. Note that there is a line for returning cars that already have a ChumpCar log book. Be in the right line for faster service
3. Team captain or representative completes registration and payment at any time 4. Team members can get their gear checked at any time
Don’t wait around and then try to go through tech/registration at the last minute! We’re closing up shop at 7:00pm on the dot. THERE WILL NOT BE LATE TECH, LATE REGISTRATION OR LATE GEAR CHECK ON SATURDAY MORNING! Get it to the track, any way you can, by 7pm Friday folks. Send it with a teammate if you can’t be there. Otherwise, we will get to you AFTER the race starts, based on our schedule. If you get to the front of the Tech line and don’t have your tech form filed out and AIV ready, you go to the back of the line!

Supplemental Rules:
1. Garages are available for $100/weekend. Power, lights and workbenches included. 2. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND CHUMPCAR’S 2012 RULES! “I
didn’t understand” or “I guess I was looking at the 2011 rules” won’t help you. 3. Do not wait until the last minute to get through Tech. Plan to arrive early. The later you
wait, the longer the line gets, and ChumpCar will shut tech down at 7pm! 4. We will assign pit stalls. DO NOT SET UP YOUR PADDOCK, TRAILER, BIG SCREEN
TVs, STRIPPER POLES or JAEGERATORS UNTIL YOU GET YOUR PIT ASSIGNMENT!! (We keep trying to tell you...)
5. If you miss Tech, Registration or Gear Check on Friday, you will have to wait until the race is underway on Saturday.
6. All fueling and driver changes will be completed in the hot pit lane area 7. Prepare to show your wrist band to the official at Pit Out before entering the track. If you
don’t have a wrist band, car tech sticker and gear check sticker, you will not be allowed on track.
8. Any hard or repeat contact between cars, or contact that forces one or more cars off track, or contact that leaves parts strewn about will earn you a black flag. Minor, incidental contact is not generally considered an offense unless it’s repetitive – at which point we assume you have a vendetta or can’t drive for spit and are a safety concern. Maintain racing room at all times and no one gets hurt.
9. Intentional contact is verboten, You will be ejected from the premises 10. ALL CARS entering Pit Road will stop at Pit In and get a timer. There are no
exceptions. All cars leaving Pit Road will stop at Pit Out. There are no exceptions. 11. Violating the fueling rules will result in your car being held at Pit Out. Please refresh
your memory on the 2012 fueling rules. 12. Drivers stints are 2 hours max. Yes we check, yes those around you are watching and
will rat you out (especially if you’re in front of them) 13. All cars, used or junk parts and anything else you brought with you that the rest of the
free world would consider as junk must be taken home with you. 14. Drivers may remain in the car during fueling and driver changes may also be
completed. All engines and electrical kill switches must be off during fueling. NO WORK ON ANY CAR SHALL BE COMPLETED DURING REFUELING.
15. Impound closes 15 minutes after the last car exits the track. Once impound closes the results of the race are final and no protests will be heard. Period.

TWS PADDOCK RULES 1. Clean up all spills immediately 2. No glass containers allowed on the premises 3. Do not affix any signs or flyers to walls or structures 4. Do not store fuel in the garages 5. No smoking in any building or garage 6. No extension cords across the paddock 7. Paddock speed limit is 15 mph 8. No one under 16 may operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle in the paddock 9. Do not operate ATV’s or dirt bikes off the paved surface 10. Only Staff and Race Officials are permitted at the control tower area 11. No pets are allowed on the premises 12. No alcohol will be consumed before or during a racing event 13. Firearms, fireworks and explosives are prohibited 14. No unauthorized use of the racing surface 15. No bulk fuel will be brought onto the premises TWS has a fuel depot with 87 and 93 octane unleaded. Prices are typically within $0.35 per gallon of market price. There are also several grades of Sunoco race fuel available, leaded and unleaded. TIREMAX WANTS YOUR BUSINESS! The College Station TIREMAX store now offers tire service at the track. Trackside services include tire sales, storage, mounting, balancing and repair for your race vehicle, street vehicle or tow vehicle. Order in advance and have your tires at the track for the event. Here are the cool things TIREMAX does for racers at TWS. First of all, discounts on most brands of tires. Second, you can order up a spare set for the race, TIREMAX will hold the tires at the track. TWS Camping and Hotel info TWS has an agreement with Manor House hotel in College Station. Mention that you are racing at TWS for the weekend to receive a discounted rate on rooms.
Camping: Camping is allowed at TWS. Gates will close at 10pm on Friday night, and will only be opened for medical emergencies. Missing the gate closing time is not considered an emergency. Please respect the rights of others. All motor homes and those tent camping must have the overnight pass properly displayed. Overnight stays are not permitted without formal tent or self-contained RV equipment. RV RENTALS TWS has six well-appointed RV’s for rent. Please contact Tami at 979-690-2500 for details. MOTORHOME SPACES & CAMPSITES: Motorhome camping fee is $30/event. Camping fee is $10/person. TWS also has six RV hookups for rent, with water and electrical connections. Sites must be kept clean and free from all debris. Glass bottles or containers are not permitted. TWS assumes no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property. ENTRY If your motorhome, RV or trailer is over 11’ tall, you will have to enter the track at the rear entrance off of Peach Creek Cutoff. The rear gate will only be opened at 6am, Noon, 6pm and 10pm on Friday. You can check in at the main gate where you will sign waivers and be directed to the back gate.
