The Church is seeking updated email addresses for our parishioners. Please note that the church has been utilizing EMAIL BLASTS to send reminders, service or event cancellations and other important church information. WHILE THE ARCHANGEL AND WEEKLY BULLETIN ARE ALSO DISTRBUTED THROUGH EMAIL – YOU CAN STILL RECEIVE HARD COPIES IF YOU WISH. The email distribution is vital to send out important information quickly – to keep the parish better informed of events and happenings around the church. Please email [email protected] ASAP!
Our Halos will gather in the Church Lower Level for popcorn and a movie on the big screen from 6pm – 8pm. Bring your favorite blankets, lovies, and cozy PJs and join us. You may RSVP online in the private Facebook group or contact Sarah Mindala directly. Hope to see you there!
Please remember through Lazarus Saturday, we will be collecting food donations for St. Herman’s House of Hospitality. There is no better way to serve the Lord than to help those in need. We appreciate your generosity in assisting this wonderful project during Great Lent. We will be collecting items in the back of the church.
We are looking for volunteers to prepare Lenten dinners following pre-sanctified liturgies on Wednesday nights. We’re looking for groups, families or individuals to prepare simple meals. If you can’t prepare an entire meal, then please consider bringing a dish for a combined effort. The Sunday School Teachers and Students are planning a Lenten project in which they will pick a Sunday to prepare sandwiches for St. Herman’s – and following liturgy that day, they will deliver and serve them. The date is TBD and more information will be coming soon!
Please note the deadline to submit items for the March Archangel will be this Monday, Feb. 25 at 5pm. You can email your items to Phil at [email protected]
Please note there are VERY FEW squares left for the R Club’s March Madness Fundraiser. Numbers will be drawn this week, so please see John or Kathy Mindala if you would like one.
