The Catholic Book club helps readers to discover, rediscover, andembrace the smells and tastes, sounds and sensations, of the Catholiclife. Meeting once a month helps readers make room in their busylives for mystery and meaning, awe and joy. Our next virtual gathering will be on Wednesday August 25th at7:00pm. St Mary’s Parish runs a food pantry on some Saturdaymornings to address food insecurity in our community.Volunteers help with setting up, distributing and cleaning.We arrive at 8:30am and leave by 11:00am. Come and joinus! P3 Adoration: P3 stands for Penance, Prayer and Pub. Theyoung adults in their 20’s and 30’s who organize this groupmeet at St. Mary’s Church twice a month on the 2nd and 4thMondays from 7:00 – 9:00pm. Hakuna Adoration: This group is a movement formed byfollowers of Christ who “create spaces of life.”They describethemselves as young women and men in their 20's and 30'swho use music to remind others of the beauty of life and toshow them the beauty of Christ.They meet every Thursdayevening from 8:00 – 9:00pm For more information about young adult adoration [email protected] or call the parish office at617-547-0120.

We continue to have Eucharistic Adoration every Mondaythru Friday in our Church from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. All arewelcome to spend time with Jesus Christ in prayer. Pleasenote the church is open every day from dawn until dusk.
We are currently recruiting and training new altarservers as well as welcomng back young veterans.Let us know if you child wishes to serve by callingthe parish office at 617-547-0120 or [email protected] Leiva is our coordinator of Altar Servers andwill follow up with you.
The Archdiocese of Boston Vocations Office hasproduced a video series on discernment designed toteach young people how to know God's unique will fortheir lives. The title comes from a book written by themystic St. Hildegard of Bingen, "Sci vias Domini" -translated "Know the Ways of the Lord". Pronounced"sh-i-vee-ahs", the 27 videos in the series are short,beautiful and specific. Fr. Michael Zimmerman, AssistantVocations Director, created the series with a small team,composed of interviews and drone footage filmed allaround the Boston area, weaving in some of his ownpersonal interests like rock climbing. The series isplanned to take someone step by step on a path ofprayer and self knowledge toward recognizing theirdeepest desires in following God's plan, even whileretaining their own personality. The primary audience ismen open to the priesthood, but the videos are valuablefor any Christian. Whether you are called to thePriesthood, Religious Life,Christian Marriage or acommitted single life, each is a gift from God to bereceived and lived with love. Our Religious Education program will start onSeptember. The registration forms are available atthe parish office during the normal weekdays officehours.
