PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN During the Wednesday evening prayer meeting I passed out a form request-ing the names of children who need prayer for salvation, prayer to bring them back into God’s will, or spiritual needs. There is a line for comments but that is only if you want to add a comment. I know that there are many others who need prayer for salvation like parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and many others but the ones closest to my heart are my children and I believe that you feel the same way; that is why I wanted to start a list of children in our Church family who need prayer. It seems like the only prayer requests we receive are prayers for physical needs and that is something we need to keep praying for but I believe that there are more than just physical needs out there. If you have children who you would like on this list please fill out the form on the following page and give it to Kathy or Rick Toews. In His service, Rick Toews

CHILDREN’S DEPARTMENT
July Events:
July 12th we will resume our Children’s Sunday School Clas-ses!! Join us at 9:45 am for ages 0 to 5th Grade. We are looking forward to seeing your smiling faces! The month of July there will be no Children’s Church during the 11 am services. We will expand our nursery and toddler daycare for ages 0 to 4 years old. All other children will need to remain with their parents during the worship service. There are children activity packets on both isles as you enter the sanctuary for each child. Please feel free to take one. If you would like to sign up to volunteer in the Children’s Depart-ment and feel comfortable working with the kids during this time please contact me. We do hope to resume with normal activities in August pending volunteers to help assist with the children.
VBS 2020
As you can imagine, VBS will be quite different this year. My hope and plans are to host a one day VBS on August 1st from 4-7 pm. This would be outdoors with rotations of a condensed lesson, missions, crafts, recreation and food (hotdogs and Chips). Canopy Tents will be set up for rotations with time lim-its at each station with smaller groups and limited in attend-ance. If you would be willing to teach, work or donate your time at one of these booths please contact me. Upcoming Events: August 14th 8 pm Movie Night in the back Portico - All ages Welcome! Movie Title to be announced in July.
