but the oldest traces of the Bormioli glasswork mas-

ters are actually to be found in its medieval roots.

Tipi di materiale

� Il polietilene (PE) è un polimero termoplastico

della famiglia delle poliolefine; può essere a bassa

densità (LDPE) più morbido (distribuzione molecola-

re a maglie più larghe) oppure ad alta densità

(HDPE) più duro (distribuzione molecolare a maglie

più strette). Il PE rappresenta un’ottima barriera

all’acqua e all’umidità, è resistente agli urti e si pre-

sta a colorazioni con colori coprenti.

Questo materiale è adottato da Bormioli per la pro-

duzione di flaconi destinati a prodotti liquidi e solidi,

di capsule e contagocce.

In the pharmaceutical sector, Bormioli Rocco can

offer complete packaging solutions thanks to its

for making caps, and extrusion-blow, injection-blow,

and injection-stretch-and-blow for making contain-

Kinds of Materials

� Polyethylene (PE) is a thermoplastic polymer from

the polyolefin family. It may have low density (LDPE)

and be softer (molecular distribution with wider

mesh) or have high density (HDPE) and be harder

(molecular distribution with tighter mesh). PE is an

excellent barrier against water and humidity, as well

as resistant to shock and high temperatures. It can

be coloured with solid colours. This material is used

by Bormioli for the production of bottles destined for

liquid and solid products, for caps and droppers.

� Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer

from the polyolefin family. It may be an homopolymer

or a copolymer.

dent), misurini, cucchiaini e flaconi.

� Il polietilentereftalato (PET) è un polimero termo-

plastico della famiglia dei poliesteri. Il PET è un’ottima

barriera all’ossigeno, all’anidride carbonica ed ai gas

e buona barriera all’acqua e all’umidità; presenta ele-

vata durezza, rigidità e resistenza meccanica ed è

colorabile con colori trasparenti e coprenti. È utilizza-

to nelle lavorazioni Bormioli Rocco per la produzione

di flaconi a loro volta prevalentemente destinati a sci-

roppi e sospensioni orali.

� Il polistirene (PS) è un polimero termoplastico della

famiglia degli stirenici; può essere cristallo, semian-

tiurto e antiurto. È un’eccellente barriera all’acqua e

all’umidità, presenta ottime caratteristiche di traspa-

renza ed è anch’esso colorabile con colori trasparen-

ti e coprenti. Bormioli Rocco utilizza il PS per la pro-

duzione di misurini e cucchiaini dosatori.

Impatto ambientale

Le materie plastiche utilizzate da Bormioli Rocco

sono riciclabili e ideali per la termodistruzione e il

recupero energetico.

Certificazioni

Tutte le materie plastiche utilizzate da Bormioli Rocco

seguono un attento e scrupoloso iter di omologazio-

ne, sono idonee al contatto con alimenti e nella mag-

transparent colours. It is used in Bormioli Rocco

manufacturing to produce bottles that are mostly

destined for syrups and oral suspensions.

� Polystyrene (PS) is a thermoplastic polymer of the

styrene family. It may be crystal, semi-anti-shock

and anti-shock. It is an excellent barrier against

water and humidity, has excellent transparency char-

acteristics and it too can be coloured with solid and

transparent colours. Bormioli Rocco uses PS for pro-

duction of measuring cups and spoons.

Environmental Impact

Traditional single-dose, in the biphase version,includes a plug, a plunger and the appropriatecap. The plug is available in two versions with dif-ferent capacities (AMN 732 at 0.334 cc and AM1109 at 0.660 cc) equipped with specific plun-gers (AM 1108 and AM 1110, respectively).There is only one cap (AM 890).

Le dispenser pour monodose remplit aussi bien lafonction d’applicateur que de compte-gouttes sui-vant les besoins et a été conçu pour les ampouleset les échantillons en PET.
