President’s Message
Greetings to all CVLLC Lions and CV Leos,
Another year is among us. Our club is very busy starting out at the
gate. Our first project is 125 School Backpacks. It was decided this
year to give all elementary schools in Selma 15 backpacks for
emergency basis. If you are able to, we are asking a $20 donation per
family toward this project. Thank you in advance always for this club’s
generosity.
E-blasts will be sent out on a monthly basis. If you have something to
put in the message, please let me know. Also, please let Lion Max
know of celebrations and sadness are in your lives. Please read the
heartfelt condolences on page 2. A great big united Lions’ prayer can
go a long way.
Any new ideas are welcome. Come to present them at a board or
dinner meeting. If you know of anyone that needs help, please ask. Our
club gives and serves.
I hope to see you all at the Annual Bring a Friend Luau on Sat.,
Aug. 17.
Let’s have a great year!!!
