Dear Parishioners,
Happy Father’s Day to all our fathers, grandfathers, godfathers and all the big brothers
and uncles who filled a paternal role in our lives.
Our collective prayer is that just as God entrusted Jesus and Mary to the care of Saint
Joseph, so Saint Joseph will be your model and patron.
The Father’s Day Novena begins today.
Holy Angels Catholic Academy held a “virtual graduation” on June 14th. In your name I
offer congratulations, best wishes for their future endeavors and, above all, prayers for the
graduates.
We also extend our tremendous gratitude to Mr. Michael Long, the members of the
Board, Mr. Russell Berry, the principal, and all the faculty.
During these last three months, the faculty and students were all challenged to continue
their academic work by the use of technology and did so with patience and grace.
We offer a special word of appreciation to Mrs. Mary Brannan who has been a faculty
member of Our Lady of Angels School for twenty-five years, and then Holy Angels Catholic
Academy for eleven years—adding up to thirty six years of dedication to our children. We wish
her God’s choicest blessings as she begins her retirement. Thank you Mrs. Brannan. You have
planted many seeds of learning about Christ and how to play well in the sandbox. May those
seeds bear much fruit.
Let’s pray for each other
