A new enantiopure D-camphor-derivedpalladacycle
Direct cyclopalladation of readily availableD-camphorO-methyloximewith Pd(OAc)2 inacetic acid at 80 �C followed by treatmentwith LiCl afforded a new chiral complex ina good yield. X-ray crystal structure of thecomplex revealed its dimeric structure, theanti geometry of two cyclopalladated li-gands and the presence of the (sp3)CePdbond.

Palladium-promoted asymmetric cyclo-addition reaction of arsole via an unusualexoeendo stereochemically controlledmethod
Asymmetric cycloaddition reaction between3,4-dimethyl-1-phenylarsole and ethyl vinylketone was promoted by the palladiumcomplex containing ortho-metalated (S)-[1-(dimethylamino)ethyl]naphthalene as thechiral auxiliary. The keto group in theresulting arsanorbornene cycloadductscould be located stereospecifically in theendo or exo position by controlling theelectronic properties of the organo-palladium promoter.

Reversible carbonylation of [2Fe2S] modelcomplexes with pendant quinoline or pyri-dine arms
Three [2Fe2S] model complexes withpendant quinoline and pyridine ligation tothe iron center have been synthesized andstructurally characterized. The reversiblecarbonylation of these complexes suggeststhat the pendant quinoline and pyridinegroups are semi-labile ligands that canmimic the labile site in the [FeFe]-hydrogenase subcluster.
