“Nursing Blitz – career education for middle school students” – developed a curriculum to educate students about nursing careers and trained volunteer nurses to deliver program to approximately 1,300 underrepresented minority students in Houston ISD.

“Inner City Explorers” – used an existing single-school program model to develop this program that brought together six urban schools to foster an interest in health careers among students. “Health Occupations Preparation and Exploration” (HOPE) program – developed & published curriculum for this longitudinal program (in partnership with two colleagues) for middle and high school students who have expressed an interest in health careers. “Satellite Down-Link Immunization Program” – coordinated this Centers for Disease Control & Prevention continuing education program for health professionals of Baytown, Richmond, and Conroe, TX. “Tobacco Cessation Education Pilot Program”– developed structure and protocol to achieve contract goals and objectives of this program.
