The Ladies Auxiliary will have their monthly meeting on
Sunday, December 17 at 9 AM, with a conference to follow in
Notre Dame Hall.
The United Nations International Migrants Day is Monday,
December 18, 2017. We will celebrate a Mass for this Day at
7:00 PM, followed by a festive gathering in Notre Dame Hall.
The Theme for the U.S. Bishops’ National Migration Week
2017 is “Creating a Culture of Encounter.” All are invited.
CHRISTMAS WREATHS AND FLOWERS:
We are approaching the beautiful season of
Advent. We will start taking names and donations
for our Altar Flowers and Wreaths on Sunday,
December 3, in memory of loved ones. All names
submitted before the cut-off date, Monday,
December 18, after the 12:10 Mass, will appear in
our “Christmas Flowers Booklet.” Those names submitted
after the 16th will appear in the Bulletin. You may make a
donation by coming to the Rectory Office and submitting the
names of those you wish to have remembered in this way.
We have beautiful Christmas mass cards, as well as 30 day
Christmas novena cards, that can be purchased in the rectory
office for $5 each.
Once again this year we are collecting new toys, new
clothing and new baby items for the children of the
needy families in our community. Take a tag from
our Giving Tree, purchase the suggested gift on the
back of the tag, bring the gift UNWRAPPED to the
church and place it under the tree. Sister Lucille and her
volunteers will distribute the donated gifts to the needy children
of our parish and Sunset Park. Thank you for your help.
Shape Up NYC has begun a yoga class for adults, on
Wednesdays, from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM, in Notre
Dame Hall, 558 59th Street. This class is free and
open to the public.
Last weekend there were 2,797 people who came to
OLPH for the celebration of the Eucharist. The total
collection was $10,574.15. Thank you for your
generosity in supporting our parish community. In the name of
the God who will not be undone in generosity, thank you!

Our 125th Jubilee journals have arrived! If you
previously purchased an ad in the journal for at least
$30, you are entitled to receive one, free of charge, and
it can be picked up at the Rectory. If you would like to
purchase a journal, they are now available for $30. There are
also beautiful 125th Jubilee glass mugs for sale for $10.
As part of our continuing celebration of our 125th
Jubilee, we will be selling 125 Christmas Wreaths to
hang on the fences around the church yard.
Wreaths will be $30 and you can have a name put
on the wreath, in memory of a loved one. You can either mail
in a check with the name you’d like on the Wreath, or come to
the Rectory Office.

un espacio en el Libro por al menos $30.00 tienen
