OCTOBER newsletter
PNW Division 27 Official Newsletter Volume 3 Issue 7
TOUCAN TIMES
Greetings
Happy October, Division 27!
I hope you’re all having a great start
to the school year. As the back-to-school
madness subsides, be sure to fuel your
spirit of service!
This month, there are many ways to
contribute to our district project, whether
it be seasonal fundraisers or participating
in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF! Get creative!
There is a plethora of opportunities for
your club to get active!
We’ve reached some great heights
for the district project this last month.
Thanks to Pullman High School’s garage
sale and Division 74’s benefit concert, we
surpassed the landmark of $12,000 for
the Eliminate Project! We’re half way
there!
Don’t forget that we’ll be creating a
“team” for the Turkey Trot! See following
pages for more information.
Always feel free to contact me with
any questions. I’d love to help you out.
Have a great day, and I’ll see you at the
DCM!
With love & service,
Ashley Yoo

September DCM Recap
Despite the bipolar weather on that Saturday,
clubbers gathered at the Houghton Plaza Star-
bucks for our September DCM. We had a few Dis-
trict Board guests and some time for card-
making, but in case you missed it, here are a
couple main points:
- DUES: Early bird deadline: Nov 1st!
Contact Ashley or Eric Grewal if you have trouble
with the MUC.
-Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF: Money goes to
ward the Eliminate Project, so contributions DO
count toward our district goal. PLEASE report to
Ashley how much your club raises.
-Cards for Children’s Hospital: We began a
small project for the oncology department of Se-
attle Children’s, making cards to brighten their
day. If your club would like to contribute, please
bring your finished cards to the October DCM!
-Turkey Trot: we decided to create a division-
wide group for Hopelink’s annual 5K. See later
pages for more information.
10.15: YOF Grant Application due
10.25: Costal Springs Festival (BHS)

their Halloween costumes with the hashtag: #PNWKEYCLUB.
