Biblical history is presented in a dynamic narrative reflected in the strong characters of men and women such as Hannah, Samuel, Saul and David. The challenges and rewards of humans in a covenant relationship with God showcase both the strength and frailties of human nature and God's infinite mercy. Join us in this five week study of First Samuel. Suggested materials are the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Additional reading material is the New Collegeville Bible Commentary (NCBC) on First and Second Samuel. ** Newcomers always welcome**
