  • Freshman Science Biology Honors Option This is a tenth grade course A small percentage of freshmen take this course less than 10% Honors Biology has a research component which requires a large amount of independent work The specific curriculum is under revision

  • Course Levels Honors and Pre-Advanced Placement Course content is rapidly paced with additional depth. Lessons are often designed to be complex, abstract, and open-ended. Academic Course content and expected student performance require additional reading and writing at a rigorous level. Academic is a college-bound level. General Course content and student performance are matched with the students grade level.

  • Classes for Next Year Your current counselor will work with you to select your courses for next year Requests to make class changes should be directed to your current middle school counselor The deadline to make changes is June 15, 2012 We rarely change electives after school begins!

  • Advanced Placement Advanced Placement classes are challenging college-level courses that 10th, 11th and 12th grade student may take while in high school. Anyone who meets the prerequisites and is willing to do the work can enroll in an Advanced Placement course.
