The Dancing Traffic LightSmart

For many pedestrians, the don’t walk sign is merely a suggestion. Smart, the company behind the original smart car, has devised a clever way to help pedestrians wait for the walk signal and keep the streets safer — a dancing traffic light.

By projecting real movements from people nearby, the dancing traffic light entertains people at the intersection until it's a safe time to cross the street. The company built the signal at an intersection in Lisbon, Portugal, earlier this summer.

On the 8th of September the Metro dedicated the entire issue to supporting PaddyPower/Stonewall Rainbow Laces campaign, which aims to tackle homophobia in football. The real success of this campaign was that Paddy Power managed to get all other advertisers in the issue to support the rainbow laces campaign. Advertisers such as Smirnoff, Premier Inn and Google got on board with their own cheeky plays on the popular advertising campaign.Paddy Powers laces featured in each ad which “tied” it all together nicely.

4D Holographic Water ProjectionRalph Lauren

Ralph Lauren really has kicked off their huge Spring 2015 Fashion Show with a splash….quite literally!

This time they launched their latest fashion using a 4D Holographic Water Projection Show before hundreds of influencers and celebs in New York City’s Central Park.

The fashion show was projected onto a 60 foot high water fountain, were the runway experience came to life in 4D as animated worlds mixed with projected models to showcase the latest range of clothing for spring 2015 from Ralph Lauren.

Jerome Jarre - MTVVine & Snapchat

Jerome Jarre is a social media phenomenon. He has over 7.2 million Vine followers and is considered one of the masters of short form content. Jerome is the co-founder of Grapestory. A mobile first marketing and production agency. Himself included they are focused on pairing the best micro-content creators with innovative brands to tell powerful and engaging short stories. MTV most recently hired Jerome to post snapchats and Vines from the VMA awards (the VMA Creeper) which proved to be hugely successful. His infamous Beyonce Vine has 208.1K re-posts, 517.3K likes and over 15 million loops.

In the Irish market Snapchat has reached a 22% All Adult market share in terms of downloads. Wall ApartmentIKEA

To promote the opening of the 30th IKEA store in Clermont Ferrand, France, the Swedish furniture giant teamed up with communications agency ubi bene to install a vertical rock climbing wall covered with IKEA furniture. 

The nine-meter-tall wall is decorated just like a showroom, except it is fixed in a vertical position. Hand grips and steps are even installed on the artificial wall for rock climbing purposes. 

Members of the public are invited to climb the wall, with a safety harness and guidance from a professional, to try out the furniture in a fun and unique way.
