Easter Greetings and Salutations from all of us in

Rejoice! Rejoice! The tomb is empty!!! Alleluia!!!

Easter Blessings to All!

Sabrina Queen

Just for fun…How does the Easter Bunny stay fit?

Eggs–ercise and Hare-robics.

What do you call a rabbit with fleas?

Bugs Bunny! Big groans…LOL!!!

Queen’s Quotes from

Religious Formation

From the Pastor’s Desk

ALLELUIA! HAPPY EASTER! The

Lord is Risen; He is truly risen from the

dead. He has conquered death and we no

longer need to be worried about death.

May you and your loved ones enjoy this

Easter Sunday and Easter season with

joy. Congratulations to the five new

members of our church who joined us at

the Easter vigil: Annastacia, Archana,

Devin, Rebekah and Tony.

As you know, this coming Wednesday,

April 24, I will be leaving for Rome for a

month to attend the PIME Missionaries

General Assembly (Chapter). It will be

four full weeks of intense meetings,

discussions, decisions, elections of a new

General Superior and his council. Our

meeting place is in Rome, just behind the

Jesuit Headquarters on the property of

the Pontifical Urban University (also

called the Urbanianum). If you have

been to Rome and the Vatican, as you

approach St. Peter’s Square and look up

to the left, there is a hill with some trees.

That is where we will be. From the

conference room we can see St. Peter’s

Square; even though the meetings will be

long and dull, I can always look out the

window. During the Wednesday general

audience of Pope Francis, you can hear

his address to the faithful gathered in the

Square. I was there six years ago for our

last General Assembly. We will meet

Monday through Saturday for four

weeks, from morning until 7:00 pm, with

breaks for Mass, prayers, and meals.

Please keep me and all of us in your

prayers. I certainly will be remembering

all of you and will write for the bulletin

from Rome. While I am gone, in addition

to Fr. Joe, three PIME priests, Fr. Phil,

Fr. George and Fr. Daniele, will be

celebrating the Masses here. Right

before the end of our meetings, on

Monday, May 20, we will have a private

audience with Pope Francis at 10:00 am,

in the Papal Palace.

Parables Revealed

6:00-8:30pm

Pre-K (ages 3 & 4)—Grade 6

Let us love one another, because love is

from God. —1 John 4:7a

Listen up! Dig deep! Jesus had a lot to

say. And those who listened discovered

a treasure in his words. Digging for

Treasure is a fun-filled, Bible-based

learning experience focused on uncov-

ering the stories Jesus told, also known

as parables. Children will sing songs,

play games, make crafts, eat snacks,

and do other activities, all designed to

help children discover amazing treas-

ures in the parables. We welcome your

children to vacation Bible school!

Thank You

This is long overdue “thank-you” to my

Parish family who have sent me prayers

and well wishes cards after my accident

on December 27, 2018. It has been a

long journey to recovery from broken

ribs and reinjured knees. Your kind

prayers have done wonders to my spirit

and recovery. It is really great to be part

of a great Parish family of St. Mary,

Cause of Our Joy. May God bless you

for your thoughtful prayers, and thank

you again.
