May 20, 2010 Panelists and Thought Leaders Jilaine Hummel Bauer Founder Bauer Consulting Ms. Bauer, a graduate of Loyola Law School (Chicago), provides consultancy and project management services to complex and matrixed organizations, helping clients drive strategy, manage risk, create new revenue opportunities, reduce costs, and solve problems when there is no roadmap or blueprint. She specializes in board governance, compliance and institutional development and speaks and writes on topics related to her industry experience, board governance and the benefits of diversity. Previously, Ms. Bauer served as an executive officer, general counsel and compliance officer in the financial services industry, where she worked extensively with boards, board committees and c-suite executives. She has served on the Board of Governors of the Investment Advisers Association and on various committees of the Investment Company Institute. She currently serves on the Steering Committee of Milwaukee Women inc (MWi) and is its representative on the Board of the InterOrganization Network (ION), a national organization which, like MWi, is dedicated to advancing the benefits of board diversity and advocating for increasing the number of women on public company boards. Robert L. Beal Principal Beal Associates Mr. Beal established Beal Associates after a twenty-year career on the management team of one of Wisconsin's leading manufacturing companies and nineteen years as a career management consultant and in executive and board of directors search. Under his guidance as Managing Director of the Milwaukee office of Jannotta, Bray, Beal & Associates, that firm became the leading career management consulting firm in Wisconsin while assisting hundreds of senior executives and client organizations in all areas of career transition, executive assessment, and organizational change. For three years starting in 1995, Mr. Beal was involved in executive search with his own firm and then joined Sullivan Associates and ultimately Beal Associates, where he has conducted numerous board of director searches for many companies throughout the United States.

Bridie Fanning Principal AlignOrg Solutions

Ms. Fanning is an experienced Chief Human Resources Officer with a 20+ year track record of strategic global achievement in multiple industries. Her specific expertise centers on aligning people practices to corporate business strategy through all aspects of business transformation. She has driven change during acquisition integration and in start-up, turnaround and high-growth companies. Ms. Fanning has held the leading HR positions at Fiserv, NCR and GE Retail Consumer Finance and was instrumental in establishing the GE Training Curriculum for HR professionals worldwide. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a member of the Chief Human Resource Officer Academy, and a licensed Executive Assessment practitioner by the Psychological Society. Ms. Fanning is a Non-Executive Board Member of the Milwaukee Public Museum and serves on the Advisory Board of Pinstripe, the recruitment process outsourcing company. She is certified in Corporate Governance by Tulane University and is a UCLA certified Board Director.

Gail L. Hanson Deputy Executive Director State of Wisconsin Investment Board

SWIB is responsible for managing over $80 billion in assets of the Wisconsin Retirement System. Ms. Hanson’s responsibilities as Deputy Executive Director include managing SWIB’s day-to-day operations, ensuring the adequacy of internal controls and prudent investment processes, identifying strategic issues requiring attention by the agency, coordinating topics for consideration by the Trustees, and providing direction for compliance and corporate governance activities. Ms. Hanson began her professional career as an auditor with Price Waterhouse prior to joining Blue Cross & Blue Shield United of Wisconsin, which subsequently merged with Cobalt Corporation. In her last position as Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Office of Cobalt, she had responsibility for managing all corporate finance functions, including budgeting, financial reporting, oversight of internal and external auditors, and investment of corporate reserves, defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plan assets. Ms. Hanson holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, is a CPA and has her CFA designation. She is a board member of the Council on Institutional Investors and serves on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Standards Advisory Group and the International Financial Reporting Standards Advisory Council.

Margaret J. Henningsen Founder and Vice President Legacy Bank

Legacy Bank, founded by Ms. Henningsen, is a state chartered commercial bank located in the heart of the city of Milwaukee. At the age of 50, Ms. Henningsen decided to follow her dream of starting a bank that would address the lack of comprehensive banking services in her community. She served as the first President of the bank and along with Deloris Sims and Shirley Lanier raised over seven million dollars in capital. As a longtime advocate for empowering women and minorities, she recognized that access to capital and the ability to create wealth were necessary to transform people’s lives. Today, the bank has assets of over $200 million; provides banking services to thousands of underserved people; and has funded more than 1,000 small business, commercial and economic development loans, creating thousands of jobs. Ms. Henningsen focuses on the bank’s mission of banking the unbanked and underserved markets. Those banking programs have become a national model for community banks that want to reach out to untapped markets. Ms Henningsen also serves as the President of the Wisconsin Community Development Legacy Fund that has received over $300 million in New Markets Tax Credit Allocations.

Mary Hill Leahy Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary & Chief Compliance Officer Journal Communications

Ms. Leahy was elected senior vice president and general counsel of Journal Communications in June 2003. She joined the company as vice president and general counsel, business services in July 2001. Leahy previously served as General Counsel Americas for GE Medical Systems (now GE Healthcare), a developer and manufacturer of medical imaging equipment, from January 1999 to July 2001. She was counsel for products and distribution for GE Medical Systems from June 1997 to January 1999. In addition, Leahy was a consulting attorney for Miller Brewing Company from 1995 to 1997. Previous to that, she was general counsel and chief operating officer of APCO Associates in Washington, D.C., and an attorney with the Washington, D.C., law firms of Arnold & Porter and Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering. Leahy has a law degree from George Washington University.

Jessica Lochmann Allen Partner Foley & Lardner LLP

Ms. Lochmann Allen practices general corporate and business law, with an emphasis in securities law, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. She regularly advises clients regarding state and federal securities law compliance and corporate governance matters, assists clients with the preparation and review of Securities Exchange Act filings, advises clients regarding compliance with NYSE and Nasdaq listing requirements, and represents public and private acquirors and targets in mergers and acquisitions transactions. Ms. Lochmann also represents issuers in securities transactions, including initial and secondary public offerings of equity securities and public and private placements of debt securities. She is a regular speaker on corporate governance and board of directors related topics and most recently moderated Foley's National Directors Institute webinar titled "Trends in the Recruitment and Selection of Directors.” She is a graduate of Harvard Law School.

Yvonne Lumsden-Dill Executive Director Women’s Leadership Institute - Mount Mary College

Mount Mary’s Women’s Leadership Institute is an extension of the College’s leadership agenda, which focuses on creating positive change for women in our community. As Executive Director of the Institute, Ms. Lumsden-Dill serves as the liaison between the College and community organizations and businesses that provide services, resources and leadership programs for women in the greater Milwaukee area. She comes to Mount Mary with more than two decades of leadership experience in several Fortune 30 companies as a management and communications specialist in issues management, information analysis, implementation of public policy strategies, and stakeholder relationship building. Ms. Lumsden-Dill is a member of several boards and committees in the greater Milwaukee area, including the Steering Committee of Milwaukee Women inc. She was named a “Woman of Influence” in the category of public policy by The Milwaukee Business Journal, and received a Certificate in Recognition of Community Service from the U.S. Congress.

Maureen A. McGinnity Partner Foley & Lardner LLP

Ms. McGinnity has a business litigation practice, focusing on federal, state, and local tax litigation and resolution of complex contract and tax disputes. She has been recognized by Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business as a leading private practice litigation attorney, by the Wisconsin Law Journal as one of the top 10 women in the law, and by The Business Journal’s "Leadership Roll Call" as a community leader in the legal profession. McGinnity also is Foley & Lardner’s Chief Diversity Partner, a national role in which she serves as a catalyst for and leader in carrying out the firm’s commitment to diversity. McGinnity’s leadership experience includes chairing the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Wisconsin, and serving as President of the boards of the Association for Women Lawyers and Professional Dimensions. She currently serves on the Steering Committee for Milwaukee Women inc.

Carol Skornicka Retired: Senior Vice President-Corporate Affairs, Secretary and General Counsel, Midwest Airlines

Ms. Skornicka recently retired after 12 years as Senior Vice President-Corporate Affairs, Secretary and General Counsel for Midwest Air Group (AMEX:MEH) and Midwest Airlines, its wholly owned subsidiary. Her responsibilities included legal and regulatory affairs, corporate communications, operational and corporate security, government relations, strategic services and board governance. Prior to joining Midwest Airlines, she served for five years in the administration of Wisconsin Governor Tommy G. Thompson as Secretary of the Department of Industry, Labor and Human Relations (now the Department of Workforce Development) and chaired the Governor’s Glass Ceiling Commission. Skornicka currently serves on the boards of Regal Beloit Corporation (NYSE:RBC), the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF), and the WiSysTechnology Foundation. She previously served on the corporate boards of Johnson Financial Group, Acuity, United Wisconsin Services (NYSE:UWZ), Meriter Health Services, AAA-Wisconsin, and on numerous volunteer boards. Her recent honors include recognition by the Milwaukee Magazine as one of the Ten Most Powerful Women in Milwaukee, receipt of the YWCA of Greater Milwaukee’s Women of Achievement Award, and receipt of Professional Dimensions’ Sacagawea Award in recognition of her pioneering leadership.

Mary Ellen Stanek Managing Director and Director of Asset Management Robert W. Baird & Co. and President of Baird Funds

Ms. Stanek is responsible at Baird for the development and portfolio management of all proprietary asset management services. She co-manages several fixed income mutual funds as well as a number of taxable and tax-exempt portfolios. In 2008 she was named a top woman portfolio manager by Morningstar. Ms. Stanek serves on the corporate boards of Robert W. Baird & Co., Journal Communications (NYSE:JRN), Northwestern Mutual and West Bend Mutual Insurance Company. She also serves on the non-profit boards of Aurora Health Care, Boys and Girls Clubs (past Board Chair), Children's Hospital Foundation, Marquette University (past Board Chair), Medical College of Wisconsin and Junior Achievement. Ms. Stanek’s honors include Marquette University Alumna of the Year (2010), the St. Francis Children's Service Award, the Tempo Mentor Award, the Business Journal Women of Influence Award, Professional Dimensions Sacagawea Award, and Wisconsin Business Hall of Fame Distinguished Executive Award. She is a member of the Steering Committee of Milwaukee Women inc.

Barbara Stephens Senior Vice President of Human Resources Bucyrus International, Inc.

Ms. Stephens leads a team providing all aspects of Human Resources at Bucyrus, including corporate communications, executive compensation and benefits, and human resource strategy and development in a rapid growth environment. She has more than 10 years of management experience at Snap-On Tools Inc., where she was responsible for performance and plant HR management, executive media communications, continuous health initiatives, and environmental, health and safety support and services. With 10 years of experience in the mining industry, combined with her successful background in management, Ms. Stephens provides global human resources leadership to Bucyrus. She also serves on the Board of First Business Financial Services, a locally managed financial services company based in Madison.
