*Magnum and OutBack inverters sense circuits that control charging are on the AC inputs not the output, therefore cannot control the charging
*These inverters charge wide open and cannot taper off.
*A relay is required to disconnect the GT
What is AC Coupled ?

*SMA and Schneider use frequency shift to knock the GT inverter offline to stop the charging.
*The Sunny Island will control a Sunny Boy to do tapered charging.
Generators and AC Coupled

*Radian and the Schneider have 2 AC inputs so a generator can be added.
*Provisions must be added to disconnect the GT inverter when the generator runs or the GT will try to sell to the Inverter.
