A Prayer for our Priests Lord Jesus, we your people pray to you for our priests. Let them see You face to face in the breaking of the Eucharistic Bread.

Amen

Prayer for Veterans God of peace, we pray for

those who have served our

nation and have laid down

their lives to protect and

defend our freedom. We pray

for those who have fought, whose spirits and

bodies are scarred by war, whose nights are

haunted by memories too painful for the light

of day. We pray for those who serve us now,

especially for those in harm's way. Shield

them from danger and bring them home. Turn

the hearts and minds of our leaders and our

enemies to the work of justice and a harvest

of peace. Spare the poor, Lord, spare the

poor! May the peace you left us, the peace

you gave us, be the peace that sustains, the

peace that saves us. Christ Jesus, hear us!

Lord Jesus, hear our prayer! Amen.

Weekly Reflection ~ November 8 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

“Human beings have a tendency to judge others even though Jesus has told us not to do that. We admire those who have power and

wealth while despising those who appear stingy or low class. We do not know the

hearts of others - only our own. That $1000 donation may be 1% of someone’s income while another’s $5 donation may be 5% of

theirs. Put your focus on what you are doing and why. Do what is right, not what will

impress others. Give what you can responsibly. Be generous to all those in need. God is the only qualified judge - leave others

to his judgment. ” by S.T. Productions”

“The Lord keeps faith forever, secures justice for the oppressed, gives food to the hungry.”
