A vacanthouse in dilapi-dated conditionon Model HouseRoad, T. Nagaris being used bymiscreants fornefarious activi-ties. The compo-und wall was de-molished recently and the debris has been dumped in the plot.
According to nearby residents, the plot and house are not beingmaintained properly by the owner.
“There is no security which makes it easy for antisocial elements tomisuse the building and the plot for nefarious activities”, said a resident.

Sir, Residents of Arya Gowda Road, near Srinivasa Street junction,have been suffering from drinking water contamination for the past tendays. Metrowater workers say that the contamination is probably dueto leakage from drainage pipes in Srinivasa Street where some workwas carried out recently.
Two days back, we closed the sump valve, removed the contami-nated water and cleaned the sump. On refilling, the water again stinks.We are unable to use it for domestic purposes due to the health hazard.
