Introduction •  The Offshore Self Regulation Management System (OSR MS)

constitutes the key elements of managing and sustaining safe operation to the offshore facilities by integrating AIR and HSE management system.

•  Element 2 of the OSR MS : Organisational Structure and Responsibilities, outlines the organisation and responsibilities of people, resources and documentation for sound and sustainable HSE and AIR performance towards effective implementation of OSR by PSC/RSCs.

•  Central to this element, and in fact to the self-regulatory nature of the OSR , is the process by which inspectors are selected, approved and appointed for all AIR-related activities.

•  The OSR Inspector Qualification & Assessment Protocol details the prerequisite training, qualifications and experience required of an OSR Inspector, and also the procedure for their selection, approval and appointment.
