The extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) Mestral® is the result of hard work and dedication of 410 producers of Cambrils Cooperative (Catalunya - Spain). They cultivate more than 150,000 olive trees of the Arbequina olive variety. The Cooperative was founded in 1902 and olive growing has been the main basis of the institution generation after generation. This product has had a remarkable infl uence on the well known gastronomy and restaurants of Cambrils area.

The Arbequina olive trees, the main variety native of the Protected Designation of Origin Siurana, produce an excellent product quality, born on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. The microclimate, the soil, the good agronomic practices and the best facilities give us the opportunity to enjoy this extraordinary quality EVOO.

L’huile d’olive vierge extra (HOVE) Mestral® est le fruit de l’effort et de l’occupation de 410 producteurs de la Coopérative Agricole de Cambrils qui cultivent plus de 150.000 oliviers de la variété d’olive arbequine. La Coopérative a été fondée en 1902 et la culture de l’olive a été de génération en génération l’un des piliers de l’institution, avec une infl uence remarquable dans la gastronomie et la restauration de Cambrils et de ses alentours. Les oliviers “arbequinos”, principale variété autoctone de la Denomination d’Origine Protégée Siurana, produisent un fruit de qualité contrôle, qui naît au bord de la Mer Meditérranée. Le microclimat, le sol, les bonnes méthodes agronomiques et les meilleures installations nous donnent la possibilité de connaître cette huile d’une qualité extraordinaire.

Taste NoteGreen mature fruity profi le, good blend of sweet, spicy and bitter fl avours. Green secondary aromas, with freshly cut grass predominating and clear notes of fennel, almonds and green walnuts (green aromas) and banana and apple (fruity aromas). Its overall quality is clearly fruity but smooth and very balanced.

Notice de dégustationProfi l de fruité intense d’olive, avec des notes qui rappellent les fruits mûrs. On perçoit des notes de pommes, de banane mûre et d’amande, on sent des notes vertes de feuille herbe et des arômes secondaires de fenouil et de noix vertes. En bouche, douce et au goût d’amande, légèrement amère et un peu piquante. Très équilibrée.
