Pegasus Group was established in 2003 and
has grown to become a leading independent
national planning consultancy, specialising in
town, environmental and commercial planning;

LANDSCAPE PLANNING
Most planning applications require an assessment
of landscape and visual effects to be submitted as
supporting information or as part of an EIA. Pegasus
has applied a wide range of best practice landscape
and visual impact assessment (LVIA) techniques for
diverse projects in England, Scotland, Wales and
Northern Ireland.
Our highly experienced landscape architects also
appraise landscapes to establish the capacity to
absorb a given development and assess the effects
on landscape character. We regularly provide
landscape expert witness services at Public Inquiry,
Hearings and through Written Representations. Our
landscape planning services include:

LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Our Landscape Design services are built on an ethos of landscape led and sustainable development principles. Our team of Landscape Architects has expanded significantly as a result of our positive approach to environmental matters and how we help our Clients deliver results in a climate of increasing environmental awareness.
The Landscape Design team offers a comprehensive service in the effective design and management of landscape design issues in accordance with UK/EU legislation. Our experience working in and with the development industry provides us with a clear understanding of the development opportunities and constraints that environmental issues frequently generate.
Our landscape portfolio currently covers a very broad spectrum of work from initial landscape planning studies, through the preparation of outline, detailed and reserved matter planning applications; preparation of detail design and tender packages and implementation on site.

GRAPHIC DESIGN AND VISUALISATIONS
Accurate 2D and 3D visualisations are a powerful
tool fulfilling many functions during the iterative
planning, design and assessment process.
Generated images fulfil multiple functions including
design, analysis, communication and promotion of a
development. Pegasus has an experienced computer
generated imagery (CGI) and graphics team to build
accurate visualisations and compile and interrogate
geographical information systems (GIS) to analyse
sites; we also successfully employ such techniques to
identify potential development sites.
