Last autumn, we took OMG Media Group And let them loose on the Jonathan Palmer´s racetrack (former F1 driver). Th ere were also several women but they soon threw all their restraints to the wind and raced around like experienced drivers. Th ey all took turns behind the wheel of the world‘s fastest cars: Ja-guar racing car for Le Mans, BMW M3 GPT, Caterham 7 Superlight and a Porsche 911. Not to have participants feel they haven´t had enough, we made the program more varied by giving them a chan-ce to look under the hood ofan F1 Team - Lotus Renault. Two profes-sional seminars on sponsorship options in motor sport - particular-ly in the world of Formula 1 – were another added value.

Job type: EventClient: Samson BreweryYear: 2012 About the project: Building on the tradition of the historic brewery and making it a popular beer brand of today? It was an uneasy task we had to deal with. Th e Samson beer with its new fl avours of Radler was promoted at the most popular events of this year. O‘neill Soldiers, Burton Spindl Spring Sessions or the students festival in Ceske Budejovice – this is where we presented our cocktail bar, smiling hostesses off ering samples of Radler and the Samson Beer Pong, a game so popular with everyone. In Ceske Budejovice, we also had our own musical stage where the top Czech DJ´s performed. Not only made Samson people dance but it also entertained them with tournaments in beer pong, which had also been seen at our previous events. Th e Samson Beer Pong University Challenge, held in many student clubs, became a hot event of this year´s spring.

Job type: EventClient: Pražská energetika, a.s. (PRE)Rok: 2012 About the project: For our client, the Prague Energetic Compa-ny, which had long been fi ghting with ugly transformation stati-ons in the city, we devised a unique ideological contest „PREdesign it your way“. It aimed to reach young artists as well as the general public. We hired street art champions – Viktor Cistic, a curator, Vladimir Strejcek, an artist, or Emil Norm, who all demonstrated their skills at the opening workshop in the NoD club in Prague. Th eir task was to design a model of a life-size station Directly in front of spectators during a specifi ed time limit. Th e pleasant vibe of the event was even more supported by V-Luke Jay Tomsky with his video presentation. Th is Urban live art show made an opening to a one-month lasting contest which brought along a collection of original redesigns of transformation stations in Prague. At the end, the winning designs were awarded prizes in the Centre of Energy Consultancy on a nice afternoon.

Job type: EventClient: AGROFERT HOLDING, a.s.Year: 2012 About the project: Every press meeting doesn´t always need to be conducted in a formal way. We proved this this statement right while organizing an event for Agrofert which decided to present their range of barbeque equipment to the media before the sum-mer season. Th e event´s main feature was magic and witchcraft. To do this, we have invited experts of great renown, like Marcela Kosanova, a fortune teller, who gave predictions about the atten-dees´ future life in the wizard´s tent. Tailor-made horoscopes or witch props helped to put the fi nishing touches to the overall atmosphere. We made a BBQ in nice surroundings of the terrace in Zlute Lazne. Th e chef who made the meals in front of the jour-nalists provided a professional view and comments on the correct meat preparation.

Job type: EventClient: Renault Czech Republic, a.s.Year: 2012 About the project: A new type of car must be presented to cus-tomers adequately. Th at is why we made promo set-ups designed to present Dacia Duster. Th e new type of the car was thus presen-ted within a  roadshow in the individual dealerships across the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Th e only thing necessary was to sign up for a test drive and then enjoy the car at full throttle! A project simple and quick to design, yet representative enough to address key customers – those were the attributes of our set-ups that made it possible for Dacia Duster to present to the public.

Job type: EventClient: JetbullYear: 2010 - 2011 About project: For Jetbull betting company, we organized a comlex event management, which included a range of activities from building brand awareness among the target group to formal and informal meetings with both media and various partners, with participation of the brand´s ambassador – David Coulthard. As a result, Jetbull became the offi cial sponsor of the fi rst Futsal League in season 2010/2011. Our role consisted of coordinating all necessary activities and we also organized an exhibition futsal match between media representatives and futsal professionals. We also provided the client with advice on the correct use of spon-sorship in sports. At the Prague Majáles, we prepared a  mobile poker house.Our collaboration culminated with the top event for customers who had a chance to compete for an exclusive trip to Formula 1 races in Barcelona.

Job type: EventClient: IntratYear: 2011 About project: Product launch is not possible without a sales promotion and events. For the client who decided to expand their portfolio with an exclusive distribution of Belgian Stassen cider, we took this opportunity to host an event in Sasazu club in Prague. Teams of hostesses and promoters, who were in charge of the prize competition, were a great support.

Job type: EventClient: PirelliYear: 2011 About project: Complete event management of the only pre-miere of Senna - the documentary - in the Czech Republic. Pirelli press conference with a  book signing of Senna - follower of the legend. Bruno Senna is a  current F1 driver and a  nephew of the famous Ayrton Senna who tragically died in a race in Imola, Italy.

PRpublic relations

Not too many people would underestimate PR communication these days and every agency can boast that using product or corporate PR miracles can be made without a single advert. We do  not promise instant miracles. We just know jour-nalists, their habits, needs and desires and brand or product visibility is somewhat natural for us. Th at´s not all. We try to grasp the client communication in a comprehensive way. Finding media space for the managers, developing status of ex-perts for them, monitoring the competition in detail and always being a step ahead. Th anks to the “Eating the Czech way“ concept, which aimed to raise public debate and encourage consumption of local food, we have won the tender. Comunica currently pro-vides product and crisis communication for Penam, Kostelecké uzeniny, Maso Planá, and Vodňanská drůbež, which will this year be complemented by Krahulík and Vysočina Hodice brands. Du-ring Christmas, the agency prepared a special brochure for these brands called Modern Czech Christmas, which was determined by selected key journalists and was part of a special press-pack. Job type: PRClient: PirelliYear: 2011 - 2012 About project: For Pirelli Czech Republic, our agency imple-mented complete media relations with the Czech media during the last year´s Formula 1 season, organizing press trips to GP loca-tions for select journalists was also part of the services provided. Th e communication aim was to introduce professionals and the general public with the activities of Pirelli and its role as an exclu-sive tire supplier for Formula 1. At the end of the season, agency produced an event associated with a visit from Brazilian F1 driver Bruno Senna in Prague, who introduced the fi lm dedicated to Ayr-ton Senna to Czech cinemas. Pirelli, who brought the Brazilian legend´s nephew to Prague, had a chance to introduce themselves to the Czech journalists and general public as a strong partner of Formula 1.

Job type: PRClient: Red BullYear: 2011About project: For Red Bull, our agency implemented a com-plete non-traditional PR service by the “Art of Can“ opening which was held by the energy drink producer in autumn, 2011. To the ex-hibition, which introduced dozens of pieces of art made from alu-minum Red Bull cans, Comunica invited journalists from cultural and lifestyle media. And while the exhibition was still running, in cooperation with Red Bull´s Press Offi ce materials for other me-dia was created and distributed. Comunica are now working on Event Management and other PR activities with the client.

Th e company sells, rents or off ers thousands of real estates to its clients every day, having no compe-tition in the real estate segment in the Czech Republic. Th erefore, Comunica makes the company visible in the audio visual media, which very often look for topics, information as well as experts from the real estate market. Job type: PRClient: HeluzYear: 2007 - 2012About project: Th e Heluz company started cooperating with Comunica in spring 2007. Full PR service is provided, both product and corporate. Th e campaign aims to introduce new products which are launched on the market or to promote the sale of already esta-blished products. Th e corporate communication includes the aim to introduce the company as an economically strong and professional partner for professionals on one hand, and on the other hand, as a  Czech company with a  long tradition in the region, which not only carefully observes their economic results, but also the envi-ronment and regional development as such. Since mid-2008, the agency has also provided a PR service for the company in the Slovak Republic. Th e services include the development of the Naše cihla - client magazine.

Job type: PRClient: BRT – Bohemia Racing TeamYear: 2011About project: Th e Bohemia Racing Team are involved in Czech motorsport and also represent the drivers selected for the World Championships. Comunica Agency provides BRT with complete media relations services related to the participation of the Czech driver Josef Král in Formula GP2 championship and the young motorcyclist Miroslav Popov in Czech and international compe-titions. Th e cooperation also involves building a  personal PR for these two young promising racers and representatives of the Czech motorsport.

One of their major products is ERAZABAN medicinal cream, for which we prepared a product marketing campaign in 2008, including media planning and PR. For the same product, we also produced POS and advertising materials.

Th e importance of digital marketing is growing eve-ry year. You can hardly imagine a marketing mix without it. Th ese days, it plays an important part which is closely intertwi-ned with the traditional channels. Th e importance of “digital media“ is indicated by the the fact that 80% of all current on-line activities did not exist 5 years ago. Hand in hand with this trend, demands on complexity and usability of each marketing solution increase all the time. Comunica imple-ment varied projects for their clients from simple websites to complex digital marketing strategy, including social ne-tworks and mobile applications.

Job type: WebdesignClient: Samson Brewery Year: 2012 About the project: For our client, the Samson Brewery, we de-signed a special interactive microsite within the University Beer Pong Challenge that is beyond any traditional conventions. Target group – comprised mainly of university students and young people aged over 18 – could try intuitive controlling on a beerpong table. In addition to standard information about tournaments and rules, the website also contained photo-reports from the tournaments as well as rankings. Th e page was also connected to the Facebook page www.facebook.com/samsonbeerpong and Facebook events. We also set up a youtube channel, where visitors could view video--reports of events - all in a unifi ed design. (PRE)Year: 2012 About the project: Within the contest „PREdesign it your way“, we designed a microsite with an interactive 3D application, which was used for submitting the contestants´ drawings. Th e application enabled them to view their designs on all four walls of the transformation station as they should look like in reality. During 6 weeks of competition, we received over 450 original dra-wings, from which we chose 14 designs best to implement. In the second part of the competition, public got involved. Job type: VideoClient: BRT Josef KrálYear: 2011 About project: At the end of season 2011, we created a promo video for the Czech driver Josef Král. Josef, who competes in the international formula series. Th e video is a combines 3D graphics with real footage and is accompanied by dynamic music as the viewer is taken backstage in the Formula 1 world, showing Josef´s career as well as presenting benefi ts that arise from sponsorship in the top automotive series. Th e video is presented interactively on the Apple´s iPad, wrapped in a custom designed packaging.

Its main task was to draw attention to the ongoing street art competition, providing a natural platform for participants´ and fans´ questions and comments. Having designed the content plan in advance, which was tailor-made to the defi ned target group, we achieved increasing numbers of active fans. Th e attractive content of the pages was supported by photos and videos of the events which were organized within the project, like the workshop in the NoD club in Prague. Job type: Social NetworkingClient: Samson Brewery Year: 2012 About the project: For the Samson Brewery, we have created a Facebook page the aim of which was to present the brewery and new products as well as to serve as a promotional platform for events like Burton Spindl Spring Session; the Samson brewery was a partner of this event. Th e page created a community of active fans that keeps growing thanks to the carefully-designed content plan. Ensuring two-way communication, regular monitoring of numbers of visitors and evaluation of the page success is done as a matter of course. Creativity designTh e visual appearance of any product, whether it is a car, computers, beverages, yoghurt or websites, is the most im-portant aspect alongside functionality. Th e public can be im-pressed or subdued by the design. It can also bring changes to consumer behaviour. Th ese positive eff ects occur when a number of factors are met but among them certainly are ori-ginal concept, craftsmanship and talent. Th at´s exactly the type of approach we choose for creative design whether it is the annual report, a billboard campaign, corporate identity or a website. Our creative department comprises of an explos-ive mixture of diff erent personalities and approaches, graphic designers with valuable experience from home and ab-road, both in digital, and desktop publishing.

It is a savings association opera-ting in the banking sector for a short period of time. In 2011, Comuni-ca also designed and produced original suspension triangle cam-paign near the points of sale.

Always clean and stylish, full-visuals promote any of the collections currently off ered, from elegant BOSS Black lines, to unconventional BOSS Orange or sporty BOSS Green.

Job type: Packaging design Client: OlmaYear: 2009 - 2010 About project: : Victory in the tender for package rebranding in the Czech dairy company with a long tradition gave us an oppor-tunity to come up with a creative design of packaging for diff erent fl avours of Florian yoghurt. We have created a modern, attractive look while maintaining the characteristics their customers like so much.

Client magazines However impossible it may seem, even in today‘s digital age cor-porate magazines play an irreplaceable role. Th erefore, they should be part of the communication portfolio for every compa-ny who cares about the relationship with their end customers, business partners or employees. Few media channels allow such controlled and targeted information clear-ly increasing brand loyalty. In addition, information packed in paper has a distinctive aroma and form which cannot be replaced by the digital form. Our idea of a corporate magazine should include interesting information and off er an open, clear and entertaining platform supporting the client´s business as much as possible. We participate in the contents composition of the magazine. We compose articles on selected topic areas such as the main interview, the main issue topic and lifestyle sections, we also provide a  complete DTP servi-ce and provide distribution of 3.5 million copies in the the Czech Republic. We won this contract based on the winning concept which is based on three main pillars: To become as open, transparent and therefore accessible institution as is possible. Produce practical in-formation that everyone can use and apply in their lives. Be inter-active, bring interesting and varied information.

Job type: Client magazines Client: NOL – Nakladatelství odborné literatury s.r.o. (Professional Literature Publishing House) Frequency: 10 times a year About project: We have been cooperating with NOL to produ-ce OBESITY NEWS newspaper designed for the general public, but especially targeted at overweight and obese patients since 2004. Th e main mission of the newspaper is to inspire the general public to a healthier lifestyle and also provide current, relevant, and balanced information about treatment of obesity and all other related diseases such as diabetes or high blood pressure. All that using as practical and fresh approach as possible. We provide complete editorial work, including composing individual topic areas (e.g., interviews and re-ports), followed by editing and graphic design. We also provide prin-ting and newspaper distribution all over the Czech Republic.
