About the Role The primary purpose of this position is to support the business transformation by delivering excellence in testing specific to the use of new digital platforms, systems and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Be the test lead and QA planner for multiple projects
Design and execute robust test scenarios as part of project delivery.
Implement and automate testing in line with wider business transformation strategy and planning.
Application of a Life Cycle Management toolsets and processes.
Understanding and development of test data based on of Australian privacy requirements.
Testing Requirements Develop and implement test plans for individual phases of application and web applications testing.
Collaborate, identify, design and develop associated test cases.
Record test results, raise defect records and re-test fixes.
Manage test cases traceability and documentation.
Escalate risks and issues in a timely manner within existing risk frameworks.
Ability to use structured query languages and scripting to investigate database structures plus test data.
Documentation Document guidance on test planning and execution.
Develop code, design tests, correct, and document simple programs or scripts to support the testing of software.
Document test cases using their own in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non- functional specifications.
Create reports on system quality and collects metrics on test cases and review tests results, modifying tests if necessary.
Performance Perform load testing and run regular vulnerability tests / scans
Troubleshoot and problem solving any issues arising in testing.

About You To be successful in this position you will have:
Required Highly Desired
Qualifications Qualifications relevant to information coding, development, scripting or application testing
Foundation level certification in testing e.g. ISTQB certified test, Foundation Level -CTFL.
Foundation level certification in ITIL Service Management.
Experience 2-3 years’ experience in testing
Experience in an Application Life Cycle Management toolsets.
Ability to use structured query languages to investigate database structures and identify test data.
Experience in Agile Development environments
Experience with automation of scripting, testing and coding
Experience in deployment of front end testing and development
Exposure to Cloud environments (AWS/Azure DevOps)
Performance testing
Experience in Cloud environments in devops or testing roles
Knowledge
Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure DevOps)
API’s and integration
Knowledge of the Human Services, Not-for profit or charity sectors.
Skills
