Rotary disc filters can provide a com-paratively large filter area that takes up only a very small floor-space. However, today’s high-performance rotary disc filters or hyperbaric rotary disc filters are heavily dependent on appropriate filter fabrics. The fabrication techniques and choice of fabrics are tuned to the requirements of different sludges, products and industries.
