Smiley Monroe’s Belt Buddy™ is designed to be a extremely cost-effective method of repairing minor and cosmetic damage to the covers of rubber conveyor belts. If there is damage to the conveyor belt carcass, specialist vulcanising support may be required - please contact us for advice.

TECHNICAL PROPERTIES

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Belt Buddy™ is a flexible, wear (abrasion) resistant polyurethane (PU) resin ideal for repairing minor and cosmetic damage to rubber conveyor belt covers.

Wearing suitable gloves, eye wear & face mask, remove the plastic dividing clip separating Belt Buddy’s 2 part resin/activator.

Make sure that the damaged area has been roughened and cleaned before application. If necessary, cut area into a diamond shape.

Ensure Belt Buddy™ material is level with the cover of the conveyor belt. Excess Belt Buddy™ material can be buffed or sanded after 1 hour. Conveyor belt can be run 3 hours after application.

Cut a corner of the pack and squeeze contents into damaged area of belt until completely filled with Belt Buddy™. Complete application within 5 mins.
