Next week’s 2nd Collection will be in support of Amor en Accion. Amor en Acción is a missionary community of the Archdiocese of Miami, formed in 1976 by a group of young immigrants. They were inspired by the principle of “faith without actions is dead” (James 2, 14), seeking ways to share that love they experienced in Christ with those living in poverty and suffering oppression. Amor en Accion continues to be primarily a volunteer missionary effort, enriched by its roots in a migrant story, and called to live mission in ordinary life, in extraordinary ways. Your donations to help Amor en Accion continue evangelizing and impacting lives is greatly appreciated. La segunda colecta de la proxima semana sera para apoyar a Amor en Accion. What good news? – The Good News of Jesus Christ and our Catholic faith! This fall, almost 200 children and young people kindergarten through grade 12, will sign up to learn more about Jesus and the Catholic faith. You can help them learn and grow in faith by becoming a catechist for Faith Formation. As you nurture the faith of our young, you will learn and grow as well! Our mission is to build the Church by evangelizing, equipping, and empowering God’s children to become radical and joyful disciples.

Fr. Claudio Barbut Misa de Sanacion (3 de diciembre) Healing Mass (December 18)
Father Claudio Barbut is a priest from the Archdiocese of Bucharest, Romania. He’s been a priest for 22 years and worked for 9 years in the Pontificial Council for the Family during pontificates of John Paul II and Benedict XVI. He is currently leading the Ruah/Divine Mercy Mission, with his Bishiop’s blessing. The objective of this mission is to combine the fruits of the Holy Jubilee Year of Mercy, via “Misericordia et Misera”, and parishes with the Holy Mass celebration. Some of the objectives of his mission are: *Importance of confession *Eucharistic Adoration *Increase frequent Mass attendance *The importance of daily family prayer and Gospel reading; all of which begin the healing of wounds within the family and within one’s self.
