Kurdistan is a safe area with the training taking place in Erbil, also with beneficiaries in a Syrian refugee camp located 20 minutes drive from the capital.

Thus, The Red Pencil International is very glad to partner with Jiyan Foundation and is looking for:

Context Kurdistan has been under severe strain wars and attacks from ISIL since August 2014. The number of refugees and IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons) has dramatically increased, particularly with the Yazidi community. Thousands of man and boys have been murdered, and also women and children taken into slavery; which results in a collective trauma for the Yazidi community.

If you are interested, please send your CV with a cover letter before 15 December 2015 to Manuela, International Operations Manager, at [email protected].

Art Therapists will be selected based on their experience, availability, and willingness to work on a voluntary basis. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

All costs are sponsored by The Red Pencil International and Jiyan Foundation.
