This friendly representative will pro-vide a confidential screening

in body, mind, and spirit by those who betrayed the trust placed
in them.
Hear our cries as we agonize over the harm done to our brothers
and sisters.
Breathe wisdom into our prayers, soothe restless hearts with
hope, steady shaken spirits with faith:
Show us the way to justice and wholeness, enlightened by truth
and enfolded in your mercy.

Spanish Bereavement Program for Children and their
Caregivers

Shepherd Hospice
Connections: A Child and Family Bereave-ment Program Good
Shepherd Hospice of-fers a FREE, professionally run, 8 week
be-reavement group program for SPANISH SPEAKING children ages 5-17
years old and their caregivers who have experienced a death of a
loved one. Children engage in ther-apeutic activities that
encourage emotional healing, increase understanding, development of
healthy coping skills and preservation of memories. Adult
caregivers attend their own concurrent support group, where they
will learn about the nature of their childrens grief and how to
best support them. FAMILY DIN-NER is served and TRANSPORTATION
pro-vided if needed. Group runs from 10/3/18-11/21/18, from
6:30PM-7:45PM, HRHCare Health Center, 1869 Brentwood Rd,

PRIMER TORNEO DE PING PONG - 2018
Hubieron 32 varones y 8 mujeres. Los partidos de apertura se
realizaron en Agosto 19, y la gran semifinal y final en Septiembre
16, 2018. A todos los participantes se les ha hecho entrega de una
meda-lla, y los respectivos trofeos para los ganadores del primero,
segundo y tercer lugar.
Este torneo ha contado con una excelente organizacin, al frente
del cual estuvieron el padre Fidel Cruz y sus principales
colabores: ngela Bercian, Selvin Robles, Ricardo Barahona, Vernica
Reyes y Ana Chileno. Tuvimos como objetivo apoyar a los jvenes de
nuestra parroquia para poder participar en la Jornada Mundial de la
Juventud, Panam 2019, mismo que se llevar a cabo del 22 al 27 de
Enero, 2019. Por lo tanto, todo lo recaudado ser destinado al
viaje.

FIRST PING PONG TOURNAMENT - 2018
We had 32 men and 8 women. The opening games were held on August
19, and the great semifinal and final on September 16, 2018. All
the participants have been awarded a medal, and the respective
tro-phies for the winners of the first, second and third place.
This tournament has had an excellent organization, headed by
Father Fidel Cruz and his main collaborators: ngela Bercian, Selvin
Robles, Ricardo Barahona, Vernica Reyes and Ana Chileno. We aimed
to support the youth of our parish to participate in the World
Youth Day, Panama 2019, which will take place from January 22 to
27, 2019. Therefore, all proceeds will go to travel costs. We
appreciate the support and presence of our sponsors: Marvin

Jesus and his disciples left from there and began a journey
through Galilee, but he did not wish anyone to know about it. He
was teaching his disciples and telling them, The Son of Man is to
be handed over to men and they will kill him, and three days after
his death the Son of Man will rise. But they did not understand the
saying, and they were afraid to question him. They came to
Capernaum and, once inside the house, he began to ask them, What
were you arguing about on the way? But they re-mained silent. They
had been discussing among themselves on the way who was the
greatest. Then he sat down, called the Twelve, and said to them, If
anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all and the
servant of all. Taking a child, he placed it in their midst, and
putting his arms around it, he said to them, Whoever receives one
child such as this in my name, re-ceives me; and whoever receives
me, receives not me but the One wo sent me.

En aquel tiempo, Jess y sus discpulos atravesaban Galilea, pero
l no quera que nadie lo supiera, porque iba enseando a sus
discpulos. Les deca: El hijo del hombre va ser entregado en manos
de los hombres; le darn muerte, y tres das despus de muerto,
resucita-r. Pero ellos no entendan aquellas palabras y tenan miedo
de pedir explicaciones. Llegaron a Cafarnam, y una vez en casa. Les
pregunt: De qu discutan por el camino? Pero ellos se quedaron
callados, porque en el camino haban discutido sobre quin de ellos

II Someone proclaim the Gospel Passage from the up coming
Sunday, slowly and prayerfully. III In a small group begin to share
and answer the following questions: (you may need the lectio divina
commentary and exegesis to give you better understanding of the
Gospel passage.
SEE 1. What is happening in the (look at the passage) passage?
2. Who are the people involved? 3. What is the situation doing to
people? - (Consequences) 4. Why is it happening? - (Causes)
JUDGE 1. How do you feel about (look at our lives) this
situation? 2. Have you ever behaved or acted like anyone in the
passage? 3. If so, what happened? Why? 4. How did you and/or those
involved feel? - (Consequences) 5. What would the ideal be?
ACT 1. What can we do to bridge (act in light of faith) the gap
between what is happening (the reality) and what should be
happening? (the ideal/ what our faith says) 2. How can we apply the
values/message from the Gospel to our everyday lives? 3. What
action are we going to take? 4. Who can we involve in our
action?
CONCLUSION: All the members of the small group make the
commitment to carrying out the actions suggested after reflecting
on The Word of God.

entre lo que est pasando (la realidad) y lo que debera estar
sucediendo? (lo ideal/ qu dice nuestra fe) 2. Cmo podemos aplicar
los valores/mensaje del Evangelio a nuestra vida cotidiana? 3. Qu
accin vamos a tomar? 4. A quin podemos involucrar en nuestra
accin?
CONCLUSION: Todos los miembros del pequeo grupo hacen el
compromiso de llevar a cabo las acciones sugeridas despus de
reflexionar sobre la Palabra de Dios.
