PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1. WAREHOUSES MANAGEMENT & STOCK REPLENISHMENTS – (Section Chief) Date from To

Supervise warehousing and storage of all spare parts supplies, equipment, consumable materials and valuable and attractive materials in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses.

Supervise the delivery of materials and supplies to all district facilities upon schedule and/or request. Make emergency deliveries as needed. Insure accuracy of completed request forms.

Supervise storing items, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based

on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities. Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or

coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions. Confer with engineering and purchasing personnel and vendors regarding

stock procurement and availability. Plane and direct the inventory and stock control programs for spare parts,

equipment and supplies. Maintain the inventory of supplies and coordinate the replacement and

ordering of such. Complete low stock report forms. Evaluate complaints received and issued on equipment and supplies and

take appropriate action. keeping stock control systems up to date and planning future capacity

requirements; Supervise processing of all receiving reports on all shipments received

through the warehouse. Develop, supervise and maintained a safety program for all workers

assigned to the warehouse. Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take

responsibility for the security of the building and stock. Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock. Interview all prospective warehouse employees and make

recommendations on persons to be employed there. Evaluate the performance of assigned personnel and provide training

experience and conduct disciplinary action as needed.

2. PROCUREMENTS MANAGEMENT - (Asst/Procurement Officer) Date from To

Supervise preparing invitation-to-quote forms and mail or fax forms to supplier firms or distribute forms for public posting.

Manage and Located suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered.

Supervise Comparing prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best quote among potential suppliers.

Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.

Supervise checking shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.

Supervise Calculating costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.

Supervise comparing suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders in order to verify accuracy and approve bills for payment.

Maintained knowledge of all organizational and MOD rules affecting purchases, and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors.

Manage and monitor supplier performance, recommending modifications when necessary.

Supervise to apply MOD policy and strategy for HR management and development in logistics depot (including discipline, grievance, counseling, training and development, succession planning, morale and motivation, culture, performance appraisals and quality management issues).

It is based on the rules and procedures of the NATO Codification System (NCS) according to NATO Manual on Codification ACodP-1 specifications.- Supervised NATO Codification USA

NATO Codification System (NCS for short) is a standard approach to identify, classify and number items of supply. This is applicable to items that are repetitively used and stocked (e.g., repair parts, equipment, food items, etc.). The System has been agreed by all signatories of the NATO and sponsored non-NATO nations for use in identifying equipment and supplies. The result is a unique identification and a data set that can be easily shared and understood by a wide range of users. The data set may be shared in the form of printed catalogs, on line systems, electronic data exchange, etc. Users include logistician and manufacturers.
