On May 23, 2017 our own Deacon Timothy Urbanski will celebrate the 30th anniversary of his ordination. To show our appreciation for his many years of service to St. Catherine of Siena Parish we will honor Tim at the 11:15 Mass on Sunday May 21st followed by a reception in the church hall. All in the parish are welcome and encouraged to attend this celebration.

Anyone who would like to participate in a spe-cial choir for Deacon Urbanski's Anniversary Mass, please attend a rehearsal on May 17, at 7:30 in the church. Participants of all ages are wel-come. We will then sing at the 11:15 Mass on Sunday, May 21.

St. Catherine of Siena CPR Classes-CPR, AED, Adult, Child, Infant Classes are offered every 3rd Thursday of each month from 5:45-9pm in the school. The next class is scheduled for May 18th.

OLM uses a proven research-based, multi-sensory approach for learning the basic language skills of reading, writing and spelling utilizing the Orton-Gillingham based approach. This program is overseen by a full-time dedicated Resource Teacher. OLM is the only school in the area offering this help without an addi-tional charge. The program is provided by a Certified Academic Lan-guage Practitioner who is certified by the Alliance for Accreditation and Certification of Multisensory Structured Language Education, Inc. Learn how you can turn your PA tax liability into scholarships for stu-dents that attend Our Lady of Mercy School. The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) is a PA tax credit program that has been revised to allow individuals and businesses to partici-pate in this valuable program. The program offers the donor a PA tax credit of 75% for a 1 year commitment and a 90% tax credit for a 2 year commitment. This tax money can be designated to go to benefit OLM to provide tuition assistance through scholarships.
