With our five layer composite pipe, we have developed an advanced product that unites the advantages of a metal and plastic pipe and eliminates the disadvantages of both materials at the same time. This offers product advantages that are second to none:

The Uponor MLCP consists of an overlapped, longi-tudinally welded aluminium pipe with an inner and outer layer of high temperature-resistant polyethylene according to German DIN 16833. All layers are perma-nently bonded together by intermediate adhesive layers. A special welding technique ensures high reliability. The aluminium thickness for Uponor MLCP has been specially selected to meet comprehensive and flexural strength requirements.

Our comprehensive range of fittings, consisting of couplings, elbows, tees and a large number of other sophisticated system compo-nents leaves nothing to be desired: Whether you prefer pressing or screwing – both methods can be used to ensure a permanently tight connection.

Uponor press fittings are available for all practical applications. They are made of tin plated brass for all sizes from 14 to 110 mm.

Our composite fitting constitutes another installation option us-ing modern system technology. This fitting is made of advanced PPSU (polyphenylsulfone) plastic material. High temperature and pressure resistance, high strength and suitability for its use with particularly aggressive water are the key advantages of this type of fitting. Therefore, PPSU material is also used for medical purposes to sanitise medical appliances.

Our new generation of PPSU fit-tings also includes reliable safety and comes with white stop rings.

All these fittings come with an integrated window that enables you to check whether the pipe has been correctly inserted or not – in fact during the installation. In other words: Uponor provides you with many smart details making installation easier.

Our compression fitting range has been designed to be user-friendly and at the same time keeping its high functionality in mind! All fittings are made with ¾ inch eurocone thread. Your benefit: less storing and no hazard of mix-up as you need only one type of screw fitting for tap water and radiator connection! Also the assembly times are considerably reduced.

Colour coded stop rings on the well-known and quick to install metal press fittings mark Uponor’s new fitting generation. Each dimension from 14 to 32 mm has its own colour – ensuring simplicity onsite, in warehouse and wholesale. The colour code system makes installa-tion a mere child’s play and reliably prevents any kind of mix-up. The foundation of the system continues to be the proved and tested Uponor metal press fitting - in the new generation now with colour coding. The new fittings and pressing jaws have the DVGW approval.

The fittings have been designed so that water dis-charges when the fitting has not been pressed or screwed. When the pressure test is carried out with non-pressed or non-screwed fittings, water will leak out of the fitting. Just press the fitting or simply tighten the compression fittings with a wrench. The connection will then be tight for life-time.

If a connection has not been pressed yet, it catches the eye twice during the hydraulic pressure test. The coloured stop rings are still there, and additionally the fitting is designed to leak water during the pressure test. Now simply press and the connection is sealed permanently.

Often in great heights or in cramped confines. But problems like these are a thing of the past with the innovative Uponor MLCP Riser System.

Modular system for almost any kind of task

The Uponor MLCP Riser System follows a modular design principle. With only 27 components, you can perform any task that required hundreds of parts up to now. Thus, you can easily plan standard projects as well as customized solu-tions for particularly tricky challenges. And even in case of unforeseen problems on the construction site, the system is highly flexible. With any connection easily being unfixed, you can quickly adjust it to the new task.

The Uponor MLCP radiator connection system allows the installation of complete heating systems – from the boiler to the furthest radiator – fast and economically. The system includes components for heat distribution, control and measurement in residential houses and mul-tiple dwellings. The range can easily be combined with all commercially available boilers and radiators.
