Seals and Sea Lions Ringed seal are found in the coldest oceans of the Northern Hemisphere, close to the North Pole (circumpolar). They eat fish, shrimp, krill, squid, and other invertebrates and reach only 150 lbs. Northern fur seals are found all over the northern Pacific Ocean eating fish and squid. They can reach 600 pounds with thick, muscular necks covered in dark fur. Harp seals are found in the North Atlantic Ocean and Arctic Oceans from Siberia to Newfoundland and Canada on and around the arctic pack ice.
