The funds designated for each trip represent need-based scholarship funds, available to cover up to 30% of City Hill members’ trip costs. CENTRAL ASIA t TERRY & ROBERTA BONTRAGER A team of 3 people will pray for the Bontragers’ ministry, neighbors, new believers, and contacts in remote villages. Trip dates: 10 – 14 days // Fall 2016 or Spring 2017 Estimated cost: $ 2,500/person Scholarship Funds t FIRST-TIME TRIP Funds to provide up to a 50% scholarship to City Hill members who have never been on an international missions trip. Applicants must be approved to join one of the international trips listed above. The funds commited at the Impact Conference are a strategic way to significantly increase the amount of resources available to impact & reach those who do not know Jesus. It is a simple yet powerful way for each of us to grow in our faith in God. This is done by seeking God and making a personal financial commitment to give for the sole purpose of outreach. These funds are then targeted towards local, glocal, regional and international outreach projects, and short-term trips as listed in this brochure. s WHAT ARE THEY ? At City Hill, reaching those who don’t know Jesus is . It is a church-wide, all-inclusive priority. God continues to release vision and strategy regarding how we can more effectively reach unbelievers. Resources are key to carrying out this vision. We believe that the funds raised at the Impact Conference are part of the framework God will use to help us exercise our faith in the areas of finances. s WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT? Together we seek God with courage and conviction regarding our Impact Funds Commitment. Commitments can be fulfilled by a one-time donation or monthly donations over the next 12 months {March 2016 - February 2017}. s HOW DOES IT WORK? INDIA t Joya Children’s Home BOB & BARB LIDFORS There are several possibilities for this team: Teaching English, giving basic computer classes, setting up a library, doing medical clinics. Trip dates: 2 weeks // End of 2016 or early 2017 Estimated cost: $ 2,300/person Total: $25,000 RWANDA t NEW MERCIES FAITH VILLAGE CHARLIE & KAREN OGLESBY This team could be involved in various ways including: prayer, teaching, light construction, prison ministry, ministering to vulnerable women and children. Trip dates: 10 – 14 days // Fall 2016 or Spring 2017 Estimated cost: $ 2,500/person DOMINICAN REPUBLIC t Jarabacoa MARCOS & MISSIE RODRIGUEZ A team led by Pastor Kent Norell will build a home, assist in children’s ministry, and participate in evangelistic outreaches. Trip dates: July 22-30, 2016 Estimated cost: $1,400/person DOMINICAN REPUBLIC t Santo Domingo 4REAL YOUTH MISSION TRIP City Hill youth will facilitate children’s programs, assist with construction projects, and serve the poor and needy in local communities. Trip dates: August 2016 Estimated cost: $ 1,500/person DOMINICAN REPUBLIC t jarabacoa MARCOS & MISSIE RODRIGUEZ t Summer 2017 A team will build a home, assist in children’s ministry, and participate in evangelistic outreaches.
