SARDA INSTITUTE OF VILLAGE MANAGEMENT SARDA is moving towards creating professionals from rural areas to work for the development
of Rural India through SIVM. In the year 2010-11, the management team of SARDA decided to
create a platform for the rural youths to be developed as RURAL DEVELOPMENT
PROFESSIONALS. This resulted in laying foundation stone of SIVM.
VISION: Create an environment to develop creativity and dedication among professionals to
give their best towards development of society at large.
MISSION: Promote sustainable growth and equitable development of Rural India through
professional management.
The institute finally aims in creating semi professionals to serve the rural sector in development
stream. They are trained in diversified field as Basic training in Community Mobilization,
formation of CBOs, report writing, documentation, minutes preparation, proposal planning,
organizing Gram Sabha Meetings, need identification, resource identification, personality

government programmes and proper implementations, trainings along with technical aspect as
agriculture, forestry, watershed development, bio diversity, health, education, different laws and
acts related to social development, disaster management, convergence of development programs,
etc. The professionals would be thus acting as resource person for their villages and would
contribute effectively for the sustainable development in the development sector.
