The Sun is a star (it emits light and heat), it is at the centre of the Solar System. Stars have light, planets don´t have light.

• Atmosphere: all the air that surrounds the Earth.
• Hydrosphere:all the water found on and above the Earth.
• Geosphere: the hard part of the Earth (continents).
• Biosphere: part of the Earth that supports life.
