Stewardship Moment February 17, 2019 - Sixth Sunday in Ordi-nary Time

“Blessed are you when people hate you…exclude and insult you, and denounce your name…on account of the Son of Man.” (Luke 6:22)

All of us have been in situations when someone has made a negative comment or joke about God or our Catholic faith. How did you respond? Did you stay silent or pretend to go along with the crowd because you didn’t want to cause waves and then, later, you felt bad? Know that God is with you all the time, the Holy Spirit will put the right words in your mouth. Pray for the strength and courage to proclaim our faith to others, especially during uncomfortable situations.

What My Adoration Hour Means To Me - Thoughts from an Adorer:

As I gaze upon you, I wonder how far I would have come in life without you in my heart? I feel a drawing towards you, as I pour out

all my troubles and you listen attentively. A hour goes by so quickly! Why not spend an hour with the Lord to give you a sense of peace and understanding?

Lent begins March 6th

WHAT SHOULD I GIVE UP FOR LENT?

Lent is the perfect time to form new life-giving habits and abandon old self-destructive habits. But most of us just give up chocolate. Then when Easter arrives, we realize we really haven’t grown spiritually since the beginning of Lent.

Giving things up can help us to have a meaningful Lent, but that’s not what Lent is really all about. Lent is about doing something—something bold to become a better husband or wife, father or mother, son or daughter, friend, neighbor, etc. What if this year you did more than just give up something during Lent? Do something life-changing. Sign up for Dynamic Catholic’s BEST LENT EVER at dynamiccatholic.com

What Is BEST LENT EVER? It's a free email program that will guide you on an incredible journey toward the-best-version-of-yourself. From Ash Wednesday to Easter, you’ll discover ways to transform your life in forty days.
