Tilde Gigliotti Business Manager In my spare time: I enjoy cooking, crocheting and spending time with my family and friends. Interesting Fact: I moved to this
country at the age of 9 from Italy. Not knowing any English, I remember attending St. Peter's Church in Dorchester and being able to follow with the congregation. We as a Catholic family are so fortunate, that we can celebrate the Eucharist in any part of our world. My favorite thing about working for the church is the moment when a stranger comes to our door in need of help, it makes me stop and thank God for all that he has provided me with.

MEETING CHRIST IN PRAYER An 8 week guided prayer experience based on the Spir-itual Exercises of St. Ignatius. It calls for a commitment of eight weeks of daily prayer and eight weekly meetings of faith sharing. Eleventh and twelfth graders are invited to participate in St. John’s Peer Ministry Program. Peer Ministers gather each Sunday evening when class is scheduled to build community among themselves and to facilitate activities and prayer services for the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth grade Religious Education students during our Friends for Good program. They serve as outstanding examples of faith in action.

Next Sunday (Feb 19th) Youth Group will meet as usual from 6:00– 7:30pm in the Youth Room which is located underneath the Parish Hall at St. Paul’s. All High School aged parishioners from the Collaborative are invited to come along and join in with Youth Group activities.
ST. PAUL PARISH MISSION STATEMENT We are a community of faith bound together by liturgical worship. The importance of worship at Mass is demonstrated by the active participation of our parishioners who strive for meaningful and moving Liturgical celebrations. As a family in Christ, we give support to our members and an opportunity to grow spiritually and intellectually.
Our girls working on national and Catholic medals are pursuing a year long study on social justice. Our program started last May with an introduction to law enforcement through the Wellesley Police Department, a career lecture on law, how laws are formed at the Kennedy Institute and this past week we traveled to the Mark Twain House and Harriett Beecher Stowe Center in Hartford, CT to learn about slavery's introduction in the USA, how these influential writers viewed slavery and used their voice to promote change, the controversy of the 1876 elections and the resulting Jim Crow period through the issues facing our youth today. The program was extremely well done. Our next journey will be taking us to the seminary to learn how justice is defined and carried out in the Catholic church, the position of the church on social justice issues around the world and the various interventions being used.
The Girl Scout Troop meets once a month on Friday evenings at St. Paul Parish Hall.
