Promise to My Guardian Angel Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Hosts, Heaven and earth full of Thy glory. Kneeling before Thy majesty, I thank Thee, O God,
that Thou hast given me a heavenly companion to be at my side, one who leads me according to Thy will, directs me in Thy paths and manifests to me Thy love. I resolve here in Thy presence to love my holy companion as a brother, and to obey him when he speaks to me through the voice of conscience. If I follow, He will surely lead me to Heaven. asked of us. Gracious God, give us generous
hearts for our Lives at St Paul’s Matters!
Fellow Christians: Because Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign
of the reality of the oneness of faith, life, and worship, members of those churches with
whom we are not yet fully united are ordinarily not admitted to Holy Communion. You may
however, approach the altar with hands crossed on your chest to receive a blessing from
the priest.
