Many Thanks—to our ECF students who participated in our “Youth Liturgy” by taking the collection, chanting the Creed, passing out bulletins, making the an- nouncements and more! Although the winter weather was factor in keeping most students away, those that were present were truly an inspiration! Well done, everyone! The NEXT Youth Liturgy will be on Sunday, May 6th! BLESSED REPOSE: +FATHER CHARLES YASTISHOCK The Very Reverend Charles Yastishock, Pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church and Prototpresbyter (Dean) of Central New Jersey Fell Asleep in the Lord unexpectedly on Monday morning, February 19th. A Parastas will be celebrated this evening (Sunday, February 25th) at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Toms River. The church will open at 5PM for visitation. The body of Father Charles will then be taken to Saint Ann Church in Harrisburg where a Parastas will be celebrated on Monday evening, February 26 at 7PM. The Office of Christian Burial for a Priest will be celebrated by Bishop Kurt on Tuesday, February 27th at 10AM. “Well done good and faithful servant, Priest Charles” May his memory be eternal! FAREWELL, DEACON TIM—We said “goodbye” and “Go with God” to Deacon Tim Kennedy who was recently assigned by Bishop Kurt to begin serving at St. Michael’s Cathedral in Pas- saic. In the short time he’s been with us, he’s made a good impression with his dynamic homi- lies and love of scripture! Good luck! “Shake your head yes and say Amen!” Coffee Social Volunteers are needed! We are not running out of coffee, nor are we running out of donuts, but we ARE running short of volunteers to organ- ize the weekly coffee social! Volunteers are needed especially for Spring and Summer months. Can YOU help?? Email Diana Faricelli at dgfaricel- [email protected] to help feed the hungry!
