STEM CHANGERS IN PRESENT TENSE -Only change the stem in the boot -Conjugate the verb based on whether an e or o is closer to end Ex. Resolver It has an o and an e but the o is last so it's o-->ue - In the e-->i section all the words end in ir, in the e-->ie section most end in er/ar but there are a few that end in ir. This makes it hard to remember which verbs are a e-->ie change or an e-->i change -The only way to tell the difference is to remember the verbs with ir endings that have the e-->ie change. The rest of the ir ending verbs are e-->i stem changers
