ion, and Confirmation, the R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian

Initiation of Adults) program is for you. Call Marion

Hills at (518) 271-2290 for more information.

Faith Formation Program Classes: Sundays 9:15am-10:15am (Madden Center)

We have begun a new and exciting year of faith formation.

Faith Formation is a lifelong process to which there is no gradua-

tion. In St. Teresa of Calcutta’s words, “Prayer is as necessary as

the air, as the blood in our bodies, as anything to keep us alive—

to keep us alive through the grace of God.” Please pray for our

young people as we have (2) Confirmation candidates, (1) 1st

Communion student, and (15) more students who will be making

friends with the Saints in November! Have a blessed week!

Pro-life Reflection: When Roe v. Wade permitted abortion, it said, “The word person as used in the 14th Amendment does not include the unborn.” It was a statement of exclusion and intolerance, of prejudice and marginalization. We, in contrast, have ours arms open wider to expand the circle of welcome into the

human family. Pro-life people are the more tolerant ones. Prayer: Lord, break down the walls of prejudice that would exclude anyone from our protection and love. - Fr. Frank Pavone
