Ignatian Leadership and Discernment in Ministry

Loyola Institute is currently offering a three-week series (3 in English, 3 in Spanish) of interactive seminars. Participants will explore the Ignatian roots of spiritual practice in leadership and discernment. In each session, activities will focus on personal experiences of leadership, the spiritual gifts and practices that support effective leaders, and the roots of discernment that help to shape choices.

Themes include the ‘four pillars’ of Ignatian leadership (1. Self-knowledge; 2. Ingenuity; 3. Heroic desires; and 4. Love). Discernment conversations will explore the spiritual foundations of making choices. All sessions will be interactive and experiential. Activities will be based on self-reflection for future leadership service in each person’s community of ministry.

In areas as diverse as catechetics, liturgical support, justice actions, and community service, there are currently many men and women in active ministry. These are today’s parish leaders, and many are searching for further spiritual grounding, to strengthen them in their faith and ministry.

DEEPEN YOUR SPIRITUAL WALK IN MINISTRY
