A LETTER FROM THE EDITOR-IN-CHIEFDear Reader,

Welcome to the January-February issue of UNIT-E! The issues have been combined in order to distribute copies of the magazine effectively and factor in the difficulties of meeting with so many different breaks. Many of us have worked through winter break to make this issue so we hope that you enjoy reading it.

As the New Year arrives, the UNIT-E core team has been thinking about how to make the magazine better than it already is. We welcome you to send in your feedback to feedback@unit-emagazine.org and we hope we can act on some of the suggestions and make UNIT-E even better for your reading pleasure. We hope to look back at the end of 2012 and see that we’ve made improvements and see how far we’ve come.

UNIT-E has been trying to draw on the fact that we distribute to many international schools in Beijing to try and enhance the international student experience. The Happenings column has always attempted to do so but with mixed results. This year, we’ve made it a goal to dedicate all our extra efforts into Happenings so as to make it happen (pun intended). If you’ve any suggestions for what you’d like to see, please email it to us! We’re always happy to hear from you.
