We have really enjoyed walking to the
Walkerville YMCA for our GymSafe
Program. We have learnt some great
gymnastic skills, including how to jump
and land on the giant trampoline. Our
favorite is the big foam pit and the fun
circuits

Q&A Webinar for SA Primary Schools
Author Danny Katz & illustrator Mitch Vane of the Little Lunch Books
On Thursday October 20
th, students from Rooms 1 & 2 (and other primary schools across South Australia) enjoyed the unique
opportunity to be part of a live Q&A webinar with both the author and illustrator behind the Little Lunch books that were the inspiration for the popular ABC3 TV series, Little Lunch. We were able to ask questions of Danny and Mitch, and hear the behind the scenes stories about the Little Lunch books and TV
program.
Chromebooks
Year 5, 6, & 7 Students only will receive further information next week regarding
ordering processes and timelines.
If you have not yet responded to our Chromebook Program form please do so as a
matter of urgency.

Vinnie’s Christmas Appeal
The students of the Vale Park Community Action Team have decided to
support the Vinnie’s Christmas appeal by collecting donations of non-
perishable food items, toiletries and new toys. These donations will be
distributed by Vinnie’s to families in need in the lead up to Christmas.
There will be a box in the front office for families to place donations in
and we are asking that your donations are received by Week 8 Friday 9th
December.

Specials for Term 4
The Giant Caramel Cookie Sale continues until they
have all gone! $1.00 each for these delicious treats.
Pasta Meals are still available to order for lunch any
day. Choose from Beef Lasagna or Macaroni and
Cheese $3.00 each.
Week 5 – Jam Donuts $1.10each
Week 8 and 9 – Giant Gingerbread Cookies $1.00
each.
Weekly Lunch Specials
Week 4 – Wedges served with salsa and sour
cream. $2.00
Week 5 – Snack sized Nachos served with salsa and
cheese. $2.00
Reminders:
Friday lunch orders will not be available in Week 5.
All of our specials are available to order on Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday for lunch during the
week. This includes Giant Toasties, Nachos, Jam
Donuts or Pasta Meals.
Don’t forget to visit us at the End of Year Concert.
There will be a BBQ, ice blocks, hot and cold drinks
available. Volunteers are needed to help on the
stall, please see me at the canteen or let the front
office know if you can help.
