(MDU or the Company) to pass-on a wholesale natural gas cost decrease for the month of July through its Commodity Balancing Account (CBA) of $0.285 per dekatherm (Dth) to its Residential, Firm General Service, Small Interruptible and Large Interruptible customers, and a decrease of $0.110 per Dth to its Optional Seasonal customers, effective on and after July 1, 2019. The proposed pass-on changes are attributable to a decrease in the overall commodity price. The Commission’s approval is subject to notice, protest, intervention, refund, change, further investigation, opportunity for hearing and further order of the Commission. The average MDU residential customer using 1.5 Dth in July 2019 will see a bill decrease of approximately $0.43 per Dth or 1.9%, before taxes. Actual bills will var y with usage. The proposed pass-on results in a projected dollar-for-dollar decrease of approximately $15,700 in the Company’s July 2019 revenues. The decrease does not change the Company’s authorized rate of return. The teams were split up into pools of four and five teams playing match- es of two games to 25 in pool play. The teams then were put into two brack- ets, gold and silver, based on their performances in pool play, playing matches best two of three games to 25 with a third game to 15 if necessary. After a long day of vol- leyball, two teams were left standing in the gold bracket for the tourna- ment championship, Team Hessenthaler and Team Ellis. Team Hessenthal- er crushed Team Ellis 25- 13 in game one and 25- 11 in game two to win the championship. Members of Team Hessenthaler were Nicole Hessenthaler, Carson Hes- senthaler, Jared McIntosh, Seth Owens, Whitney Neves and Jenna Neves. “We had a pretty good turnout of 14 teams,” Ni- cole Hessenthaler said. “We had a good mix of different competition. 10U all-star squad kicked off the Wyoming District One Tournament Satur-day by defeating the Riv-erton American squad 7-6 in Powell.

Riverton took an early 1-0 lead and held the lead until the Mustangs scored three runs in each the third and fourth innings and one in the fifth to lead 7-1 after 4½ innings.

The Mustangs got quite a scare late in the game with Riverton scor-ing two in the fifth and three in the final inning to cut the Big Horn lead to one. With the bases load-ed and two outs, Kannon Owens stepped on third base to get the final out and secure the victory.

Members of the Major League All-Star team this year are: from the Braves, Rudy Hall, Owen Walker, William Watts, Matthew Newman, Alex Hedges and Owen Edwards; from the Cubs, Tucker Jackson, Cash Wassmer, Lafe Files and Kyle Wilson; from the Phillies, Casey Jones, Da-vin Crosby and Hudson May.

Nick Wilson is the manager of the 12U team this year. Chris Edwards and Jacob May are the coaches.

The Wyoming District One Tournament will con-tinue through Saturday in Riverton.

The top two teams from the District One and Two tournaments will face off at the Wyoming State Majors and Minors Tournaments, which will be held in Torrington on July 24-27.

Fourteen teams bat-tled for championship su-premacy at the Byron Days Co-Ed Volleyball Tourna-ment Saturday at the By-ron Baseball Field.

The teams were split up into pools of four and five teams playing match-es of two games to 25 in pool play. The teams then were put into two brack-ets, gold and silver, based on their performances in pool play, playing matches best two of three games to 25 with a third game to 15

“It was a good turnout,” coordinator Natalie Col-lins said. “This year, I felt it ran much more smooth-ly. We did things a little different, which was two brackets. We took the top seven to the gold bracket and the bottom seven to the silver bracket. It made things go quicker.”
